I haven't been to Bravo in awhile but was so disappointed when I took my mother in law and elderly mother there to eat. We wanted to try the bar menu for happy hour and there is no seating suitable for elderly people. When we asked if we could do small plates they said No. when we asked if we could order the bar menu due to no appropriate seating they said No. When my MIL asked for a half order of the spaghetti and meatball they agreed and brought her 1/2 a meatball and less spaghetti and charged for the whole order. My mother and I loved their eggplant parmesan in the past. When it came to the table it looked like they used a potato peeler to slice the eggplant. The whole experience was very disappointing to say the least. I don't know if this restaurant is under new management but something has definitely changed. read more

Went for lunch. Felt their lunch menu was slightly limited, and I'm surprised that they don't list half-size pasta dishes on the menu because I've never had an issue ordering one for lunch or dinner. Their salads are always really good and the bread and oil is just the best. I dislike the way they have the dining room set up, it feels like you're on display because the room is very open with only half walls between tables. I was here with a large group after a funeral. There was a buffet set up in a private area. They seemed quite unorganized considering this was scheduled in advance. They ran out of food on several occasions which had the entire line of people waiting. There also appeared to be a shortage of staff working the event. After I got my salad a small inchworm scooted across my plate. When I gave it to the server, she sat the plate down & never removed the large bowl where the worm came from. Well this is very sad review. For years this exact location was a "Go To" local Italian style restaurant for me. And I know the current pandemic has caused many economic issues that have impacted all of our communities. But since 2019 I have noticed a real steep decline in the presentation of the business. I had given this location 3 chances. And they struck out on all 3. Upon arrival each of these times, the service provided was all the same. No one was at the front(as there should be) to greet customers and prepare them to be seated, then no waitress attended my family for 25 mins, then we finally received our drinks, the food was excellent, the service was very poor. I've eaten at this Bravo! for years! I have always enjoyed coming to this restaurant. I like the interior design, I have a thing for Roman ruins and this has the restaurant version. I love the bread and dipping oil with the sun-dried tomatoes, one can make a meal of that alone. The most outstanding meal there is the Chicken Scallopini, it is just wonderful. 2 generous chicken breasts, juicy and delicious, topped with portobello mushrooms, and a delicious cheese sauce with capers. Herbed pasta is just the perfect accompaniment. Highly recommend! The lobster bisque is incredible! The salmon pasta is wonderful too. Desserts are outstanding! The one reason I am removing one star is because when I got the sliced chicken over Alfredo pasta, the chicken was rubbery and I couldn't eat it. I did mention it to our server and the manager came over and took the dish off of our check, which was really appreciated. Although we like the food and service here we think that in these times that restaurants should take extra care to make sure everyone receives clean utensils, china and glassware. Twice now we've had to ask for replacements, once for a wine glass with lipstick on it and again for a dirty fork. This is not nice normally and totally unacceptable during a pandemic. Extra care must be used to check these things. We have no way to check but now I wonder how well they are cleaning the tables and seating. Right now I would suggest that an apology won't keep your clients if you don't up your game. read more

My family and I are so disappointed how Bravo has gone down hill since the pandemic . We went there for lunch today we could not believe what we saw . The floor by the reception desk when you come in was filthy, it was black it was gross our shoes were sticking to the floor , I was shocked it was horrible . The food was not good . We had our 4 year old grand son with us . They took for ever to bring his food . Usually they bring the kids food first . They brought all the adults food first and he had to wait . The decor is gorgeous, but the food is iffy at best and it is almost tremendously OVER-PRICED. It is better to go at dinner time because during lunch, I felt like they didn't have many options. Well, Bravo, you've likely lost our custom for a long time. We have now had mediocre experiences on our last three visits. Not BAD, just mediocre. The food tastes okay, but it just seems like the effort isn't there. My pasta dish (sausage tortelloni) had way too much water in it. Seriously, Bravo? Drain the pasta before you plate it. My wife's dish spaghetti dish tasted okay, but had an unappetizing ring of water around the edges. Your complimentary bread tastes like cheap, frozen bread with some oregano sprinkled on top. It should be soft and warm, not room temp and hard. My wife's salad wasn't prepared as ordered. My salad (house) was 99% iceberg lettuce and didn't have enough dressing for my taste. That's fine, but it took two tries for the server to bring more and fix her salad. The first time we asked her, she apologized, then stopped at the next table (8 top) and took their order before heading back to the kitchen. No wonder she forgot! Finally, the server seemed incapable of keeping our drinks filled and walked past empty glasses sitting on the edge of the table several times. It was 4pm and less than half full at the time. What it boils down to: the service and food isn't bad, it just seems like they don't really care here. They're getting premium prices for mediocre service and food. Bravo really needs to return to its roots as a mid-priced casual joint and give up the pretense of fine Italian cuisine. In the meantime, we won't bother coming back, despite them being the closest Italian food to home. Shame. read more

Stopped for dinner with my son last night around 8pm. The dinner crowd had thinned out. Server was great. Food was not. Ordered the lobster ravioli. I should have sent it back. It was lukewarm. Not much flavor. A bunch of weird TINY shrimp were scattered about the top of the dish. The ravioli needed to be cooked a little more as we both agreed it was too firm to be considered al dente. Meatloaf was so salty I couldn't eat it. I got the 2 course lunch that included soup, salad and a main dish. The mushroom soup (also very salty) and salad filled me up so they boxed most of my entree . I wanted the meatloaf for supper but could not eat it because of the saltiness. I will say I was in with a larger group (10 people) but that doesn't excuse bad food, especially when you order their supposed signature dish "Pasta Bravo". The food took forever to come out, and when it arrived my dish was stone cold. I can excuse this to some degree due to the group of 10 people at the table, what I don't excuse is the pasta being very undercooked (30 seconds less and it would have been crunchy). In addition it came with chicken which ended up being 2.5 paper thin slices, I doubt it was even an ounce. In general the portion size was small. Would of sent the dish back if it hadn't taken over an hour to get it. Other than the length of time to get the food the service was good, always had drink refills and the staff was attentive. So I took my mom and a friend to the Bravo at Belden Village tonight and what a disappointment! They seemed to have a new, untrained pizza maker because my normally beloved Margherita pizza was just meh. The crust was off and it was so disappointing. Then we all order the molton lava cake for dessert and she brings them out unheated! They were hard as rocks and had to be sent back. Who doesn't know to heat up a molten lava cake? Then to add insult. one of the waiters walked around with his mask below his nose --rather defiantly I might add. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants but don't know if I will be willing to go back. Sad. read more

This place is amazing. My favorite is the pasta Bravo with the spicy cayenne pepper sauce. Krissy there is a delight to see when you get there . But also when it comes to desserts you can't beat there lava cake with the vanilla bean ice cream. read more

This review is specific to the new Beavercreek location at the Fairfield Commons mall. I would just like to say that the food, drinks, and service at this location are phenomenal! I ordered the gin gimlet and the Mahi Mahi, with the mini sampler desserts, and they were all absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend stopping by after a day of shopping. I wish I would have taken a picture! So I came to this restaurant today, and this was my first time. I am vegan, and always feel awkward going out to eat since I don't want to cause any problems or make anyone work harder just for me. The waiter was so helpful, and he hooked me up with an all vegan meal, it was so good. He checked all the foods to make sure they were free from meat, eggs, and dairy. He even got me special bread that was vegan! My food was fabulous! Our service was great! Everything was so nice, and I would advise anyone that loves Italian food to go there! I wish I would have gotten the waiter's name, because he really went the extra mile for me! I had pasta with tomato sauce and tons of veggies! 4 years ago when I was visiting Dayton, I fell in love with the place. Recently relocated here and of course I needed to try it out again and I gotta say I was super disappointed. To start, our drinks did not match the description in menu and were 65% ice, which left you feeling ripped off for paying so much money for just a few sips. We decided to try the meatball appetizer and when it came out, you could visibly see the HUGE chunks of bread in it, which gave the meatballs a weird texture. Both of our pastas were incredibly bland despite being able to visibly see the sauce. Our waitress gave the vibe of not caring or being super ditzy. We saw on more than one occasion walking by, spilling plates of dipping oil on the floor and not making any efforts to even level the plate to stop the dripping. I suggested the place for a date night and left feeling incredibly embarrassed as the food was not good, the service was mediocre at best, and to top it off we were in and out within an hour. We came in with a larger party for a birthday celebration and everything was outstanding!! The food was great especially the beef medallions with the asparagus and sweet potato hash. We had a bad start when the wait person finally made an appearance and while taking our order informed us that they were "out of bread today". Had I known all that was coming I would have walked out at that moment. What came next you ask? I received my plate of lasagna and it was mostly cold except for one edge. Happy to send it back but can't find my wait person. I finally flagged another employee and she took the plate back for a reheat. Ok, dinner is served but the lasagna is a few noodles swimming in cheese and sauce. It doesn't even look like lasagna and tasted worse. Check time but no wait person to be found. Waited forever to get out of there. I can think of a handful of Italian restaurants that are so much better and very close. And what about the lack of salad with the meal. The place up the street has salad with the entrees and yes bread. Service horrible....meal horrible. Go somewhere other than Bravos. read more

I'm not sure what happened to Bravo. This place used to be a nicer place to go. The hostess tonight was wearing Converse sneakers and jeans. The servers also wear jeans now and look disheveled. We arrived at our table with no silverware or napkins and the bread was hard and barely warm. I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese. I'm no expert but it's the first time I can describe a pasta dish as being dry. I had my wife sample a bite to confirm. It was basically pasta with ground meat throughout. Very odd. The portion was also disappointing for the price and my prior experience here. A manager came by at one point to tell us the kitchen was backed up and our food would be a few minutes behind which was nice. We then noticed the pass though in the kitchen was full of dishes waiting to be served and wondered how long they had been sitting there and if ours was among them. Overall, I'm disappointed in the change since my last visit. Not sure we will be back. read more

Service lacks here. I had to ask over and over for refills of bread and refills of my tea. Watched my salad sitting there over 10 min. Then off with another waiter it went! Started off with the fried ravioli it came quickly. Hot and delicious!!!! My sons food turned out good he had kids chicken parm oh my a huge portion for a kid and delicious! I always get the pasta diovolo with shrimp and add mushrooms and spinach with rigatoni pasta EXCELLENT!
