They always have a beautiful supply of houseplants and the stores are always set up so nicely. I stopped by this location to boost my mood and check out their plant selection. The staff was friendly and helpful and I found a couple of specific plants I'd been wanting for a while. I was very happy with this location and the type of plants they had available!!!

My Grandmother had then as did my Mother and others in the family. Saw them back in late summer at Mike's Growers Outlet in Denver but they were very small. They told me to come back later in the year which I did on Sunday but they had sold out of the larger one and only very small ones left. They suggested Denver Produce but they did not have any of any size but the did say that Ingle's Supermarket had had them but were sold out of the hanging basket size. Tries a different Ingles on the way home in Westport but they did not have any as well. Backing up a day, on Saturday, Brawley Nursery had advertised on Facebook with accompanying photos of some beautiful plants. The back tire on my Audi had picked up a nail so had a late start and did not get there till 1:20 and they close at 1:00 pm on Saturday. They later posted on FaceBook that they still had plenty and they would be available when they opened on Monday at 8:30. 8:30 came and went and they did not open at least while I was there. It was just me and another employee and we were both locked out looking through over the gate. Went online to see if Pike had them but from the way the adv ready, you could order them and they would be ready in 2 to 3 days. Another words, it sounds like they are representing a 3-rd. party. Placed an order yesterday afternoon and got an email in less that an hour that my order was ready. In other words, they had them in stock and I could come by and pick it up because they were open till 6PM. Told them we would pick it up on Tuesday if that was OK so over lunch today, drove over and picked up a beautiful bright red Christmas Cactus. It currently sitting on a coffee table in my living room and I am very happy with my purchase.

The best part for me is that all of the plants are grown on-site, so they are already acclimated to our climate zone and ready for success in the landscape. They make sure you have everything you need before you check out, which is important because each plant has different soil and nutrient requirements. No other place I've been to does that, I really appreciate the extra care.

Problem is with their Price List "Quality Discount Program". It states over $500 - 5% discount, etc. Then it states "runs per calendar year (Jan - Dec). All purchases add to total dollars. First visit we spent $468.53. We went again today and spent $177.57. We then asked about discount. They said you have to spend $500.00 all at once. Thereafter receive 5%. My husband told them that's not clear and then why does it say "All purchases add to total dollars". Gentleman said they have had people stopping in asking the same question but it's after $500.00. My suggestion is they need to change the wording!!! Also if $500 is total all at once why didn't employee or office tell us. We could've very easily added another shrub and met the $500.00. We are new to area and have decided this is a bit shady way to treat customers. Will take our $ elsewhere.

When I finally did I was pretty blown away. The first two-thirds of the layout here are best enjoyed with a slow walk in the evening or morning. Have a look over all the decorative plants perfect for any backyard setting you may be planning. Want a pond? They've got one for inspiration. Want stone lanterns, busts and statuettes? They've got 'em. There's also an indoor shop with more decor related items like wind-chimes, wall-hangings and what-nots. My favorite spot would have to be right around the little hut. It sits about halfway back into the gardens right beside the pond. I believe it's more-or-less home to a separate sort of consignment shop. It wasn't open when I visited but it was a pleasant spot simply to be in. Are you wandering around Davidson-Cornelius-Huntersville and looking for the next spot to enjoy a slow finish to the day with your date? I'd suggest dropping in here.

The staff wasn't the most helpful or friendly but that didn't bother me. I was there for the plants.

I shop here regularly and truly enjoy the experience. The Village Store is part of our quaint Main Street area not to be overlooked. You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.

Definitely check this place out of you are looking for a gift for yourself or someone else!
