A friend of mine passed away and several of us wanted to contribute to the floral spray. After collecting the funds I only had one day to order the flowers before the services. I ordered on line as it was after hours. I was concerned with the arrangements being last minute that there might be a hold up as other places required several days. Purchased standing spray Forever Missing You, Premium(200.00) with a bow (20.00) extra. When my family and I arrived at the funeral on March 7,2022 the standing spray designed we purchased was not the one we saw. Brazekton's Florist sent a standing spray of dead flowers of a design that I did not order or even resemble what I purchased . Sometimes when certain flowers are not available substitutions can be made but the flowers should be fresh. This is what this florist sent to my Aunts funeral. This florist has been dodging me since my first call on March 7, 2022. It has been a week and this florist has not reached out to me to at least refund me the money we paid for this standing spray. Here is a picture of the standing spray this florist sent to my Aunts funeral. I guess Brazelton's Florist in Detroit, MI thought because we were in Chicago we would not be there to see the flowers we purchased. Based upon the run around they have done this is a common practice. Stall enough and they will go away. I would just like to say, this is what I would consider and "BRAND NEW" business. I had done business with them in the past and I was highly disappointed and wrote a review expanding such. The new owner reached out to me and was quite concern and asked would I please try them again. She even sent flowers as a gesture of good faith. So last week I had an occassion that required flowers and thought I would give them a try. They have freshly painted the outstand of the building. You can tell they are trying to work on the outside appearance. I went introduce myself and they had some of the most beautiful full roses that I have ever seen all colors even blue! They had such beautiful huge poinsettia plants that I will be goind back this week to order 3. I believe and giving second chances to business trying to rebuild. And I truly would love to see this be a come back buisness. You ROCK!!!! read more

I ordered a plant for my niece memorial service. I told the seemingly very helpful young lady that I was torn between two plants and that I didn't have much money having to come from out of town on such short notice and that I didn't want it to look "cheap" or dainty. In other words I wanted a nice showing. I also STRESSED that I wanted the flowers and ribbon to be purple and not yellow as displayed in the pic. She assured me that my request would not be a problem and the flower I decided on would make a "very nice showing." I was at the church when it was delivered and got a sickening feeling that was the plant that I ordered looking not full at all and OMG no purple flowers or ribbon. It stuck out like a sore thumb with yellow amoungest the sea of purple (her favorite color). Needless to say I was not only embarrassed but very upset. I waited to call them 4 days later once we returned home and got the young lady again who referred me to the owner/boss. While he was very apologetic he didn't seem to have time hear my entire story. Over talking me with insincere apologies and thanked me for "making him aware." He didn't even know everything he was being sorry for. Just rushing me off the phone. Not that a credit would have made a difference because the very last thing I wanted to do for my niece was ruined but at the very least he could have done was took a few mins and listen to me and been genuinely apologetic. After all flowers no matter the occasion are a sincere gesture. It meant a lot to me. Update - A few days later while searching their site to leave a review, I noticed their posted 100% guarantee and that cust satisfaction was their # 1 concern. So I made a 2nd call to the owner Mr. Brazelton who indicated that he remembered me as being "the sensitive lady". I again expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction with the quality of the plant that was deliver and how it was completely different from what I requested, what I was told and what was pictured. It was only after I expressed how I didn't think FTD would appreciate being represented in this manner that I was told I would receive a refund. Several days later I received a portion of the total cost. It did not even cover the cost of the plant. Still dissatisfied but too frustrated to make a third phone call. I would not recommend anyone that would not stand by their own guarantee. read more

I had flowers sent with a balloon on Feb 14th 2020 the flowers came with no balloon I called and inquired about the balloon which was $5.00 I was told that I would receive the balloon or a refund back to my account and neither has happended it is now Feb. 17th 2020 I have called a number of times and was told each time the manager was out and would call me back I'm still waiting on a call or a refund yes it's $5.00 that's not the point but if I spend my money for a product it should be honored. read more

I want to start by saying, this florist is a family owned florist. They have been in this location for a really long time. They were kind and polite people. I gave them a 3 because I think they are a little pricey for what you get. Some of my flowers started to wilt before I gave them to the person I bought them for. The building is not appealing at all, run down. I hate to be so harsh, I wanted to get flowers from a small business but, I should have known that being across the street from a hospital , their prices would be hire.
