I came in for a Brazilian wax around 5 PM on November 17, 2025. The building was clean, I was greeted right away, and the acting manager took me back for my service. She gave me a moment to get settled before starting, which I appreciated. The wax itself felt a bit rough, but nothing out of the ordinary. I was on the phone with a friend to distract myself, and I began to notice she kept going over the same areas repeatedly, almost as if the wax wasn't grabbing the hair. When she finished, she let me check the results--and that's when I noticed that about 75% of the hair was still there, just broken off the way it looks when you shave. I tried to discuss it with her, and she attempted to go over the area again, but the wax still wasn't picking anything up. I was disappointed and asked for a reasonable solution, especially since I now have to wait for the hair to grow back to at least 1/2 inch before anyone can fix it. She told me she couldn't offer a discount and that I was still responsible for the full balance. When I asked to speak with the manager, she told me she was the manager and that the head manager wouldn't return until Wednesday. When I asked for their contact information, she refused. After pushing the issue and explaining my concerns, I was eventually offered a free service. Overall, the service was poorly done, and as a loyal customer for years, I'm extremely disappointed. My wax feels prickly--like porcupine quills--and that's absolutely not the result I expect from this place. So disappointed. read more

I've been here a number of times and every single appointment has been stellar! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. I've gotten a Brazilian every time I've visited and I've been so happy with the results. This is much more affordable than the other place I was going and easier to get an appointment. They accept as appointments and walk-ins, although I always make an appointment with my favorite wax specialist. I like to stick with one person for these things. The rooms are smaller than what I'm used to, but the wax specialist leaves the room while you undress if you're getting a service that requires you to "de-robe". The website is user friendly, unlike the front desk staff. They could use some work! The place is clean and they get you in and out within a reasonable time and I've never had to wait more than 2-3 for my appointment. On my most recent I visit, I was underwhelmed and dissatisfied with the level of service I received. My appointment was at 4pm, but I wasn't seen til after 4:30 pm and the front desk clerk failed to inform me of the delay or offer an apology. Secondly, the aesthetician left a lot of hair on my legs. Lastly, I paid for the $65.00 wax service and the upper lip is included. I wasn't informed of this until after she finished waxing my body that anything under the mask is not being offered at the time. I spoke with the woman at the the front desk and she stated "well, it's free anyway, you are really not paying for the upper lip wax." My overall experience was poor and completely contrary to what Andreia's standards/philosophy which asserts " Andreia's philosophy is simple: provide superior waxing experience by delivering extraordinary personal service and exceptional value." My experience was far from extraordinary nor was my waxing experience superior. On the website it does not state that services clients can't get anything under the mask waxed. Would I recommend? No! I have had a great experience with Carly! Amazing customer service. My only concern with this company is there is not a sufficient system in place for rescheduling appointments. I needed to reschedule, but called and the phone went straight to voicemail. I left a message and didn't return a phone call back. There is not an option to reschedule on the online booking platform, which is INCONVENIENT! Needless to say, I still had to come to my appointment when I needed to reschedule which was inconvenient for me. I would have been charged the 20% if I didn't show up, which wouldn't have been my fault. Waxing is great, online rescheduling system is terrible. read more

So I've recently visited this establishment for a second time. I was very pleased with the service the first time last year with Ms.Brianna she's was very thorough and I didn't experience any breakout after having a full body wax. This time I had the same service it wasn't with the same lady, it was painful and uncomfortable. I am also experiencing a number of things with my skin. Hair bumps and ingrown hair. I am only giving 1 star due to Jazamin. She is excellent. However, there is a serious lack of professionalism at the front desk. If you try to call regarding your appointment, there is never an answer. Expect long wait times ... 20-45 min for a scheduled appointment. No communication or customer service. I made an appointment online the night before and the process was quick and easy. When I arrived in the salon I was promptly greeted and directed to sign in. As I waited for my esthetician, I checked out the decor in the lobby and was impressed with the furnishings and decorations. Some salons can feel sterile, this one felty feminine and fashion forward. When I got into the room, I wished some of that decorating have carried over. The thick plastic covers and hospital paper on the waxing tables were uncomfortable and contributed to me having a sweaty back by the time the process was over. Sheets or towels would make the customer more comfortable in my opinion. My esthetician was polite and friendly. She also did a great job on my service. She talked to me during the process to help it be less awkward. She also made sure to check on regularly to make sure I was tolerating the process well. I wish I remembered her name because I would highly recommend scheduling and appointment with her. I also appreciated not being bombarded with profits to purchase at the end of the appointment, though some after care instructions/ recommendations would have been helpful...but there's always google. I visited wax by Andreia Wednesday 12/29 for a Brazilian wax. I have called everyday since and cannot get anyone to answer the phone. Aside from the fact this was the most painful wax I've ever gotten (I've gotten waxed regularly for the last 3 years) I definitely know the door should be closed if I'm undressed! On top of that, the wax that she removed the hair with was left on the bed for me to get up and accidentally get some on me.. it was a mess and she did not know what she was doing... she applied one strip for the right side and it went all the way to the left side... I'm no esthetician but I'm pretty sure you apply on the right then let it dry then apply SEPERATELY on the left... not one big strip.. then once she pulled the horrific strip she RUBBED IT.. not applied pressure, she RUBBED it like it was lotion.. omg that made it even worse.. the pain, the uncleanliness, the door being left wide open after she was done she just walked out and left the door open.. read more

The girl I scheduled with didn't actually do my wax so that was odd. I scheduled with Krissy and Paris did my wax. She was fine though. I started a new medication for a skin condition and she was very mindful to watch for any reactions. It took longer than what I'm used to but it had been a while since my last wax so things were rough. The end result was more or less the same. I already have growth less than a week later though. The facility is a little more "casual" than what I'm used to at my previous place. There was a literal crock pot in the room used to warm the wax. But I guess whatever works. For half the price of my old place I can deal. I'll be back! I did like the that I wasn't pressured to buy any kind of packages or products like I have been at other places. read more

The place is extremely clean but when I walked in for my appointment they told me that the girl that I originally booked for didn't work there anymore and the receptionist and another girl started discussing who would do my wax. The girl walked me to the room let me in and shut the door without saying anything. a minute ago I've frequented Andreia's while living in Atlanta with minimal problems. I just moved to Memphis and was delighted to see a familiar place. Yesterday I went to the shop for a full body wax. Instead what I recieved was an underarm and Brazilian wax with a partial leg wax. I have most of the hair on my legs still present and had to shave! It was obvious that the esthetician was inexperienced with leg waxing and handling of the wax. The wax was hardened and she used a total of one wax strip per leg. When she got to the back of my legs she cut corners and rushed to get the service over with totally neglecting to wax my calves and thighs. Furthermore, it was one of the most painful Brazilians I've ever recieved. It felt as though I could feel ever last hair being pulled from my skin individually. She was a nice lady just not good at her job. I'll give the place one more try. If I recieve what I did yesterday again, you've lost a regular customer! read more

I've come here a couple times whenever I come back home to visit family and have never had a bad experience until my wax on 04/25/22. I booked a full body wax appointment with Adrielly for 2:15pm. I arrived and checked in and sat down. 30 mins go by and I'm still waiting. I asked the girl at the desk what was taking so long and she said I will be next and it will be with Carly. I told her I booked with Adrielly. She said she is off today. Why have her available to book if she is off?? Makes no sense! I feel like it would've been nice to be updated about that or update me with why it's taking so long but instead I'm sitting there for 30 mins not knowing anything and I had another appointment lined up that I had given enough time between the two appointments and ended up late. Carly came to get me from the front at 2:47pm. I will never let her wax me ever again. She was rushing and not giving the wax enough time to harden before ripping it off. It was the most painful Brazilian I have ever had and I've been waxing for 4 years. She put the wax a little too far into my vagina and we she tried to rip it, I literally almost screamed out in pain. She didn't clean me up good. I still had wax everywhere. My vagina was very red after she waxed me and still is two days later. She caused trauma to that area and I'm hoping it starts to clear up in a couple more days. read more

A friend of mine posted they were offering free training waxes. I called, requested an appointment for the free training special, I was told she had one more appointment for 5:30. I got off, drove there and got waxed. Beyond painful, bleeding, and then I get CHARGED for the service. The girl at the counter had a "whatever" attitude about it so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager said it was their mistake but "at least you got a professional". That is NOT how you treat customers and if you aren't prepared for the volume of customers you'll get when offering free services then you SHOULDNT offer them. Word of mouth is so much better than anything I can ever say on here so everyone I know will know not to come here. Poor customer service. Esthetician was friendly but service was NOT good. Last January, after researching all the options in the area, I decided to try Brazilian Wax by Andreia. They have a Full Body special for $65....which is INSANE! You can't even get ONE body part waxed for that at some places. Anyway, it includes upper lip, underarms, full brazilian, and full legs. Again, crazy that you can get all of that for $65! I was a waxing newbie but I decided to bite the big bullet and get a Full Body. I had my appointment with Julie and she immediately made me feel comfortable. I went in for a brow wax & the woman that waxed me was extremely rough & she wiped me down with baby oil afterwards which left me with a huge ingrown hair the week that followed. Also two women in another room (unknown if it was two employees or an employee with a customer) were having a very LOUD conversation in another room that could be heard clear as day in my room.
