On entrance to the parking lot, there is a sign advertising Roast Duck, Roast Pork and Roast Pork Belly! It is a good size market with kitchen items, sauces, noodles, ramen, rice, dairy, produce, meats, seafood, etc. There are mixed Filipino, Vietnamese, Korean and Chinese food items. The place is clean and well organized. At the entrance, a layout wall chart was clearly in display! According to my wife, most prices are cheaper than Fort Myers, but a few items are higher. There are live fish, lobsters, blue crabs and other seafood available. The lobster prices are good! We did not buy any seafood because we simply were not prepared to cook seafood and a small cooler in our car. Wait, they have a huge live King Crab in the tank for $59.99 per pound! They have a good selection of Sake and Soju. We picked up a whole roast duck, 1 1/2 pound of roast pork, produce, tofu, dried mushroom, and dried chrysanthemum teas. No bakery in this market and we pick up a few packages of frozen roast pork bun, or Cha Shu Bao. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back!

Today my husband went at 4:45 PM, and they were already shut, even though they claim to close at 5 PM. The owner was outside and casually said they closed early because there were no customers. That kind of attitude says everything. If you close whenever you feel like it, of course people stop coming. This is not a one-time issue. It keeps happening, and their posted hours clearly mean nothing. As for the food, we stopped buying their frozen pierogi after last purchase that was so bad my husband actually returned them. They were dark gray and full of ice, obviously they had been thawed and refrozen multiple times. We couldn't even look at them, let alone eat them. There are several other Eastern European stores in Sarasota that are consistent, professional, and actually respect their customers' time. This place does not. We won't be back.
