We came here hoping to support a small local business instead of going to a chain, but unfortunately it turned into a disappointing experience. We arrived at 11:40 AM on a Saturday after a long day of travel the day before. On Google it states they close at 12:00 PM, on Yelp it states 12:30. When we pulled up, the open signs were turned off but the door was unlocked. Before my family even got out of the car, I asked the girl at the counter if they were still open or already closed for the day. She assured me they were open. We ordered two bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast burritos. After placing the order, the employee went to the back to notify the kitchen, and we clearly heard the cook say, "Are you kidding me, bro?" The employee responded, "Nope, I'm being totally serious," in a very annoyed tone. At that point, we felt extremely uncomfortable and told her it was fine and to just cancel the order. She tried to reassure us by saying it was okay, but we explained that it didn't feel right ordering food when it seemed like the staff was upset about having to make something that was still on the menu during posted operating hours. Another employee then came out from the kitchen and seemed even more irritated, saying they had already started making the order. Overall, it created a very awkward and unpleasant experience. We had actually been really excited to try this place because of the great reviews and because we saw the owners were from Thailand, where we honeymooned, which made us even more interested in supporting the business. Many reviews mention how friendly and welcoming the staff is, but unfortunately that wasn't our experience. The two employees we interacted with came across as very rude and dismissive. The food itself was tasty, and the mango smoothie was good as well. However, the uncomfortable experience surrounding the order made it difficult to enjoy, and it ultimately wasn't worth it. Welcome to breakfast Express, they open every day from 5 in the morning until noon. Run by obviously a mom-and-pop shop type of group from Thailand who are very very friendly. You will not see this place driving on a main road but it is neatly tucked in the back behind some stores and which ones you get there it would be bestowed by a building that was probably recently erected and clean inside and out especially the parking lot. Lots of lighting all around. Needless to say there is also a drive-thru This is probably my tent visit and each time as this time of year January 2021 I've always gotten a free donut with purchase. I feel this is a very efficient norm where you get a taste of their donuts that they had the day previous. The donuts are not stale but instead of throwing them away, why not do a good gesture correct? My usual order is a glass of milk with extra Boba. This is one of the things that bring me back soon we because other donut shops you get a small 8 oz carton of milk and it will cost you almost $3 worst to here hey what seemingly is a 16 oz glass of milk is only $2. Boba, which some people call Tapioca back at home is an extra fee, which is something you have to probably Google and try it if you have not yet. They also have different types of flavored teas for you to enjoy with your tapioca. My other go to item is the croissant breakfast sandwich which consists of a very light and Flaky croissant sandwiching sometimes an over medium egg, (I love that yolk run) ! With bacon. There is also a patty sausage variation which neither disappoint. If you would rather have your breakfast egg and bacon between biscuits that is also an option. There are about two or three tables for you too enjoy your coffee, donuts or whatever you have ordered inside. Give this place a try if you are in town after you've already tried the other mediocre donut places. This one deserves a mention for above t and beyond. read more

My friend & I bought: 1x Cheese & Egg Biscuit 1x Cheese & Egg Croissant 1x Pig In A Blanket 1x Burrito 1x Dozen of Donut Holes = $20 but tasted like $100 Almost bought the Thai Tea, Glazed Donut, the Cronut but that probably would've clogged our arteries lmao But each menu item was DELICIOUS. I'll do a drive with my friends & I from Texas to Colorado/Arizona/Vegas/California, I'm definitely stopping by here in the AM for breakfast. Cute owners too! I enjoy making my own smoothies but when there's a place in town that can cater to our needs I will then buy it made! I ordered my first Berry Blast and really enjoyed it! (and probably not my last one) Very filling, you can taste the fresh fruit and it's so creamy! Swing by and try them out, I guarantee you that you will be back! I visited for the first time on 7/13. The experience was so great, that I went back again on the 14th and on the 15th! I tried their donuts, smoothies, and my personal favorite, jalapeño kolache, which tends to sell out quickly. I can see why - they're delicious! The food tastes freshly made here. I'm new to Pecos and had been craving something savory for breakfast, luckily someone mentioned this place. Seemed like a hole in the wall type place (location wise), but when I found it I found a very warm atmosphere! I always get greeted like family. The sandwiches are amazing! But the star of this play is their Boba, coming in various different drinks. Other places tend to have interesting textures regarding boba but they always have it just right. Lord have mercy. Just what I needed. Buns and sausage combine into one delicious yum yum for my tum tum. The bathrooms are huge. Big enough for me to do my daily yoga poses.
