Came here for date night and had no idea what I was getting myself into. I'd say my first breakout room was one for the books! My fiancé signed us up for the kidnapped breakout but didn't read the most important part (IMO) that we would be blind folded and hand cuffed before we enter the room! Many may find that exciting, but I felt the opposite!! So you can imagine me once it was time to head into the room, ha! Kenzie was our host and did an amazing job explaining the rules and the game. Once it was time to start, she blindfolded us and handcuffed us (with real police cuffs!) with our hands in front. My fiancé placed her hands on my shoulders, and Kenzie guided us into the breakout room. She told us we'd hear a quick story, and after that, we could remove our blindfolds and search for the key to unlock our handcuffs before doing anything else. Once we heard the beep, the one-hour countdown began. We took off our blindfolds and opened our eyes to an all-brick room, chained to a metal bed frame with bloody clothes on top of a spring mattress. After about five minutes, I found the key. The breakout experience was intricate, challenging, and a ton of fun. Although we didn't escape in time, we'd absolutely go back. Highly recommend! read more

Today was our 3rd time coming here. The first time I would've given 4 stars, one clue was messed up so we wasted some time but we still made it out. The second time was great, the game master was great. Today we did the Submarine survival room, and it was the worst we've done. It wasn't too bad until we got close to the end and the paper said we needed a red tube, however there is no red tube. So there's a pink and orange tube, we were using pink as red and wasted probably 10 to 15 minutes on a single puzzle because they were using orange as red. Super disappointing and I feel like maybe that should've been mentioned before even starting the game that the red is actually orange. read more

Yelp Elites got free admission during the week of April 10-14, and I was happy that I didn't have to pay $121.98 for two people in a one-hour escape room! Yes, this is certainly more expensive than the escape room in Fishers ($45pp/hour), but you are paying for quality. The escape room themes are so well-executed, and there's an insane amount of details and secrets hidden inside the rooms. It's a small venue, but it still hosts several rooms without feeling cramped. Our Breakout Game, "Secret Mansion", was the perfect balance of challenging and fun. Unlike Escape Room Fishers, we were given unlimited hints, and our Game Master, Seth, gave very specific and helpful hints. Seth was a fantastic Game Master, always cracking jokes and making us laugh during the game as well as verifying our code combinations and helping us escape. We did the island escape experience. Our group of three finished it with 18 minutes to spare. We've done several escape rooms in CA and another in IN. And we think this one would be great for beginners. There were a lot of combo and key lock puzzles in it, but also some other fun things mixed in. The location is a small drive from downtown. I've been to a few escape rooms and this was the best! The game master Bella was super nice and gave great clues. They really added to the fun of this room. We had two people and we still had a great time and ALMOST got out. The theme of this room was creepy and mysterious in the best way. Everything in this room actually does link together really well once we started seeing how to solve the puzzles. I highly recommend this escape room and I will be trying other rooms with this business! This is a safe space. :) read more

WOW. This was the first time I've ever been in a breakout room, and I had so much fun!! My friend and I did not get out on time, but we were close, and it was a lot more fun then we thought it would be. We tried the kidnaping scene. The game "master" was very nice and helpful when we needed him, he did speak SUPER FAST, so it was a little hard to keep up with him. Overall, I would 100% recommend and would love to come again with more of my friends. read more

We did the island adventure escape room, and it was definitely fun! Unfortunately, there are a lot of technical difficulties that took off a lot of time from us being able to move onto the next clue. I would say probably 15 minutes of our time was taken away just because several doors and items that were supposed to pop open, did not, and certain aspects of the escape room where malfunctioning. The worker did a good job moving things along once she figured out things weren't working. We still had a fun time, and the worker was pretty helpful, especially explaining how we would've won as we did not get out in time. I do think that we would've gotten out in time if things were working correctly from the beginning of our time there. read more

My sister had made a reservation here for her boyfriends birthday. Due to Covid they are only allowing reservations and they allow you to book rooms just for your group. On the door it states that they will let you in 15 min before your reservation period. My sister was there about 20 min prior and tried to get in because she needed to use the restroom but no one answered. 10 minutes prior still no one answered the door. You must be wondering now why I have given the 4 stars! Once I called the number on the door I believe I got through to the owner. She said she would call the employee working immediately to see what was going on. Once I touched base with her again she informed us she was unable to get ahold of the employee but insisted we would obviously get a free game and if we wanted to rate she let us know that someone would be there in 30min. It was a Tuesday night and we planned on getting dinner later so we decided to wait. The owner called back and let us know that not only today would we get our game for free but we would get the next game for free as well!!! Turns out the employee for that night got a flat tire on the way to work. We loved the escape room we signed up for! This was my third time to this location and I have loved each room! This was my families second escape room, the first being The Escape Room in Fishers. Here, we did the Island Escape. In comparison, the room setup at The Escape Room is much, much nicer. For example, there we did the Race Escape and they had a real automobile in one of the three rooms. The Island Escape was just one room with man made objects out of wood. With that difference out of the way, it didn't detract from the fun and challenging time we all had. They had lots of different puzzles and locks to figure out. Our host, Austin, was awesome. He coached us / checked in when appropriate. The big draw for us coming here was being able to complete a room with just the three of us in our family and did not have to buy all eight spots like The Escape Room or being paired with strangers whom we may not work well together. Check this place out for a fun and challenging time. Maybe we'll run into you there because we are headed back. read more

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about my experience with Breakout Games. My family and I had sooo much fun and the staff were friendly, interactive and made us feel really comfortable. I won't ruin it by adding any details about our breakout room, but it was way more involved than I ever would've expected. I definitely recommend it as an activity that people of most ages can enjoy. Our group ranged in age from 12 years old to late 50's. It was thought-provoking without about being boring. I want to add that our group was so big that we had to split between two rooms and the other group had just as much fun. This is super fun for a weekend activity ! We joined another group and then we're locked in with 60 minutes to get out! It's a little stressful and a little confusing but the workers help you out if you get stuck. While it is $24 a person, it is really fun to try out and worth the money. I definitely wouldn't mind going back and trying out another room. I really wish you could do it in smaller groups of like 4 or 5. Is kinda hard to get everyone a chance to participate with 8.
