Although Bomb Squad takes place in a single room, it features several unique and enjoyable puzzles that kept us engaged throughout the game. Casino felt a bit dated, and a few puzzles seemed to rely on having some familiarity with gambling games, which may be challenging for players without that knowledge. This escape room is one of the best ones I've ever been to! The rooms have difficult and unique challenges and puzzles, while not being gimmicky. They have a lot of different rooms that are all uniquely themed. The game masters are very friendly and they know everything about the rooms! I appreciated that when I said "If we're not close at all, can you please give us a hint?" and the game master obliged by letting us know he wasn't going to give the hint because we were close to getting the next step. We had a blast here! I love escape rooms and Breakout Games was a new location for me. One thing I noticed about this escape room is that they have a very limited number of people who can participate in each room compared to other places. There were nine of us and we were split between two rooms. We did "Operation: Casino" and the other group did "Kidnapping 2: Afraid of the Dark", which actually started off in a completely black room! We loved the creativity of the rooms and the challenge. The staff was great and they offered unlimited hints, which was unusual but nice! Both of our groups were able to escape! read more

I came here for a company outing/team building experience. I love escape rooms and I had not been to this facility before. We did the Island Escape which apparently only 20% of teams get out of. I will say it was a little upsetting that part of the first clue had "malfunctioned" and was already laying on the floor. Another thing as that the room could use a good cleaning/fixing/updating due to wear & tear. We managed to get out of the room with less than a minute to spare and I with the help of our game master Caro when we got stuck. I'm sure she was silently laughing at us cutting up and ragging on each other and pondering "How dense can they be?" Hahaha. Great deal, first of all! I was hunting down specials on escape rooms and settled on Breakout Games. They had a variety of rooms and scenarios, great reviews AND a coupon code for weekday bookings. And I was booking a Wednesday evening~ so yay! Booking was easy on their website. It is advised you arrive 15 minutes early and you can sign your waivers ahead of time online. We had a party of 6, this was a birthday gift for my friend & I made sure to include her hubby and daughter. We arrived super early and waited for our Gamemaster to take us back! We chose the Kidnapping scenario and were blindfolded and restrained entering the room. From there the details are a little fuzzy as we raced the clock to avoid a horrific fate at the hands of our abductor. Puzzles, riddles, finding clues, unlocking several pieces of the puzzles- we managed to ESCAPE! The door lit up white and opened as we rushed to safety! lol~ We also got a good laugh when another group, in another room, shrieked and startled all of us! Good fun! Our Gamemaster- Lea was awesome, she was there the entire time to offer help if we needed and to confirm codes before trying. I often wonder how much they laugh at us as we run around a room looking at everything and anything. The last puzzle she was impressed with our skills to decipher! She said she thinks it's the fastest she had ever seen anyone do that part! I figure it balanced us getting stuck on one clue in the middle! This also is one that the more people you book the lower the cost- which is super fun! Highly recommend and grab as many as your friends as possible! read more

Some friends and I came here for a break from reality as they are huge breakout fans and occasionally I get the privilege of joining them. Today's kidnap motif was fantastic! Granted we were only two steps away from getting out in time; if we had another two minutes we would have succeeded however it was great bonding and working together. This was the first time I've ever been handcuffed so that was an experience ha ha but overall this was a good way to spend the day. They do social distance and they disinfect everything after the game is done. Our game monitor, I wished I had her name but her picture is attached was fantastic, She had a great sense of humor and you can tell she really enjoys her job! My family and I have become fans of doing escape rooms. We decided last moment and saw they had an opening for the time we thought was great for us. It's not that expensive for 60 minutes. The place, aesthetics and props don't look like much. Not very appealing! I've been to other locations and the places I've been to normally look really nice. This doesn't have that vibe. However even though the look and props are not all that. The fun, clues and rooms are certainly high level entertaining. The staff is super nice and helpful. We turned into the strip of building that also had an escape room but we knew right away it was the next set of buildings. It's located across from BJs grocery store and the Tesla service center. The building looked taken care of, I can't think of anything wrong with it. They have a pregame out in the lobby while you wait which was pretty fun honestly. The game itself was so well put together and just all around a good time. I think what will make or break your experience is the people you go with. This is one of the newly popular puzzle game rooms that have sprung up around Jax. I have gone to one other game room before so going here was my second time doing a puzzle room. We did the Hostage Room and this room was pretty hard in my opinion! You had to unlock boxes with clues, and you basically couldn't move on to the next one with out solving a clue first, it was fun and suspenseful because your working against the clock ( you have one hour!) Breakout Games differed from the other room I did because the clues were not hidden around the room but instead locked up in boxes or cabinets and you had to unlock them to get your next clues! It is a fun new thing to do with a group on a night out, the moderators were friendly and helpful...gotta get hints! I even brought my lil one and it was no problem doing the room with a baby, oh and it's right off Philips Hwy across from Lowes/BJ's with just a plastic tarp sign up right now. read more

Waiver was done online (yay!). Arrived 10 min early, check in was a breeze. Our game master ushered us into our escape room, briefed us, and the game began! We did Museum Heist. Won't spoil any details here. Overall, quite pleased with the puzzles and the elation you feel when solving each piece. And each piece led you to the next step and ultimately you get out. A great thrill ride and a great way to spend an afternoon with your friends. Game master didn't step in until we all asked for a clue. She did intervene a tiny bit more once we only had 10 min left and we weren't close to finishing, which I think is preferable to not finishing! If I could improve anything, I'd increase the variety of the puzzles a bit (a few too many locks to unlock). Also, this is neither good nor bad, perhaps the difficulty was a tad high for first timers (given that we needed a bunch more hints unsolicited to finish before time expired), but probably just about right for people who've done 1 or 2 escape rooms before, so if you're a first timer don't expect to finish without a bit help. Overall, loved the experience, and have a hankering to try more in the future! read more

Our Game Masters Brooklyn and Mariah were both wonderful and gave just the right amount of hints for us to work through a difficult spot. All of the other staff members we encountered at our visits were friendly and helpful! Bonus points for the cleanliness of the game rooms too: I've been in many rooms that felt like they needed a good deep cleaning but Breakout didn't have that feel and instead the rooms felt like they receive regular cleanings and wipe downs. I decided to go here after reading reviews on here. Very much a last minute idea for date night. I am so glad I did! I called up and spoke with Bren (sorry if it's spelled wrong!) very nice person! Excellent customer skills. We decided for the island room. When me and my girlfriend got there we were greeted by Brittany, again top notch people skills. She briefed us on the room, and she was so helpful in a way to not give anything away. Throughout when we asked for hints she was helpful and clear. We would still be stuck in there without her! We had a team building experience here with our bosses and had a blast. Half of our group did the hostage room where you go in blind folded and are handcuffed to a bench. I won't ruin the rest but that's the one I did and LOVED. Catilyn was our behind the scenes angel that watched us from another room and would would give us a clue if we were stuck but let us use our own brains and didn't give it away. SHE WAS GREAT! The other team did the island something. Sorry I forgot the name but they really enjoyed themselves as well and Daid Josh, their behind the scenes guy was really awesome.
