This room didn't have a single lock, so I liked that it was different from others we have done. We needed 2 extra minutes, but with that little bit of extra time we did manage to escape. It was a fun time with our niece who we were visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday. Doing an escape room with her has sort of become a tradition, so we will be back again next year to escape from another room.

The room we chose was very clean and well organized. The game itself, titled "Betrayal", was not terribly difficult, but it was a definite challenge. Our small group was not successful; however the game made it very possible to succeed. There was a very small amount of mis-direction and extra information, but not too much. If you were successful in progressing past a step, you could figure out the next step without wondering if you were on the wrong track. On one hand, I wish the room itself was a little more decorated to feel more immersed in the theme of the game and add to the experience.. On the other hand, when you're racing the clock, you don't want too many red herrings throwing you off track. I still think that Exit Games could do a little more in this area without causing too many problems. My only concern about this room would be for a group of 8 adults; the Betrayal room was not terribly large and I'm not sure how comfortable it would be in there for 8. I think that "Betrayal" is great for 4-6 people aged 14 and up to complete without too much trouble, but it's certainly not guaranteed. The more 'puzzle lovers' in your group, the better. Our pre-teen children had a lot of fun and were able to contribute towards our progress. This was our first experience with an escape room, and we all enjoyed the experience. We will definitely go back to Exit Games to try their other room based on our positive visit.

Hunter and Alexis were our game masters and they were a joy to work with. our group consisted of…read more5 people and only 2 of us had done one room together. we had an experienced escape room junkie, 2 medium ones, and 2 novices. we did the escape the 80s room. the room is great for 3, but 5 was too many. we had members standing around. that being said, the room was well-themed throughout. there were great novelties to transport us to that time. we were able to escape with time to spare. I wish I was here longer to do their other room, but now I have an excuse to come back. Their price was appropriate for a local escape room. biggest takeaway is not putting too many people in the room.

It was the perfect mix of competitive and hilarious, and it truly felt like we were on a real game show set. Our host Shawn and producer Blake were incredible. They kept the energy high the entire time, explained everything clearly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable jumping in. Even people in our group who had never really watched the classic shows were able to follow along and fully participate. It was organized, engaging, and just such a unique way to celebrate. We all left saying how much fun we had. I would absolutely book again and would love to try their Prime Time Showdowns next. First, it super cool getting to go to The Beast haunted house building to get to the escape rooms. It really sets the tone for the experience and we loved getting to appreciate such an old building in the day light. The younger gentleman that was working this day was great! He was very friendly, seemed to really enjoy working here, and did a great job explaining everything to us. The 6 of us were taken to our escape room and got our briefing. The room was a lot of fun and took some real brain power on some of the puzzles. Without any spoilers, the room was exciting, had some fun moving pieces, and we all had such a fun time. Now, all that said, this is my 7th or 8th escape room I have done. This one has some difficulty with solving certain puzzles but overall, I felt it was kind of on the easier side. I felt it needs a few more puzzles to actually solve because even though it took us 50 of the allotted 60 minutes, I don't feel like we actually solved "that" many puzzles. I was also hoping for maybe a little bit more of décor and stuff like that. I think some other rooms I have been to really put you into a more immersive experience. I definitely want to come back and try their hardest room(s). But overall, it was a blast and our group had a terrific time. When you get there, there is a video on the screen. That is NOT what it's like. Thank Goodness !! He looked at that video and was even more livid. I asked the lady can the scare actors not go hard on him. I pointed to the video and she said Oh, that's in L.A. where it's bigger and much more. After everything was said and done, my son loved it. He said Okay, that was pretty great. All of us agreed that it was the best one that we've done out of a dozen.

Worst Ever Escape Room!!…read more This was by far the worst escape room I have ever been bar none. And I've done over 20. The attendant was phoning in and completely uninterested and non-helpful. Half the stuff in the escape room was broken and one of the main objective clues wasn't even there. The room itself was dirty and very hot. All of the stuff was old and several things were smudged or not working. And to top it off, a piece of the plaster wall literally fell on one of the people in our group. If you want to escape, escape by not going to this escape room. So so bad!!!!

I did The Neighbor room yesterday and it was pretty disappointing. We ended up making it out with 3…read moreminutes to spare, but we had to ask for a bunch of clues because the clues that we found made no sense and were in no way connected. The whole thing just felt like a stretch. I won't go into too much detail, so I don't ruin the surprise if you do decide to check this room out, but the locks were hard to open and when we did have a combination right sometimes we thought that we were wrong because we couldn't get the lock to open and ended up wasting more time when we in fact had it right. Many of us kind of gave up in the middle of the whole thing because it wasn't challenging or exciting; it was mostly just frustrating. I have been to other escape rooms in the past where the staff made us feel pumped and welcome when we got there, thus enhancing the experience. I did not get that feeling here; even when we received clues the lady who said she would be watching and listening to know where we were at had no idea how far into the puzzle we were or what we needed next. She gave us the wrong clues or clues that didn't apply yet because we weren't that far along. We spent more time explaining to her what we needed help with. And FYI they do not accept Groupon deals on Saturdays.

You know, a cipher with many layers of translation (colors, letters, numbers, words) which make it more convoluted but not particularly clever or intriguing. No coherent storyline. When we would ask for a hint (unlimited hints are offered) the Game Master would ask several questions to ascertain our progress. Questions which could easily have been answered by watching us through the video or noticing that, yes a drawer was open or an item was in a particular place. You should not have to spend that much time describing to the GM where/what is happening in the room. My biggest complaint is that after time ran out they would not explain how to solve the room. I would've been satisfied with a brief summary. We had two children with us and we were playing the game at a leisurely pace. If we had thought we would not be shown the final solution we would've asked for more hints during the game. We also probably would've chosen an easier room. Their website clearly stated, "If after 60 minutes your group is still 'trapped' our game master can show you the solution - if you want it!" We DID want it, but they refused. (The website was changed shortly after.) In an email response to my complaint the owner told me, "The website stated we CAN show you the unsolved puzzles but does not require us to do so..."
