Courtney made sure all the materials were thoroughly reviewed, and did not cut corners. she taught the class all that's needed in your time as a Security Officer. I really enjoyed her class and is considering taking her PI class with her. I will highly recommend this particular instructor to anyone that needs or want a DCJS license. She was strict and by the book, but made the class go by because she was so funny. If you are thinking of getting your license go to CCJA with Instructor Courtney Leiker. Thank you Indira

Tom Perroni runs an impressive academy that offers more classes, with the highest level of expert instructors, than any other school in the Commonwealth. I took classes with students from all over the U.S. who heard this was one the top academies in the country. I have to agree with them 100%. Thank you for your instruction and I'll be back for more.

This school is ok but I feel some of the staff could be more professional and ethical in their…read moreprocedures and how they communicate with parents/guardians as well as students. I know its a small town and everyone seems to know everyone's whole family but many new people are moving to the area that are not from here and SOMETIMES the lack of professionalism is very noticeable. I have had to complain about unprofessionalism from the school nurse, a few teachers and other faculty. They also need a better bullying policy that is actually enforced. This may be a statewide problem & I'm not really sure, but it seems this school has a "one size fits" all procedure when dealing with different situations, different children and circumstances. They aren't horrible by far, but these are some of the things that could be tweaked a little to improve the school. If my work schedule didn't conflict I would join the PTA and contribute more ideas to improve but for now this is all I can do. We have a little time left with Culpeper Middle School so perhaps this review will change into more of a positive one soon. The principal is good though.

This rating is for our SECOND instructor, Pattie Sullivan. Ms. Pattie was AMAZING, patient,…read morethorough, and communicated with me daily about my student's progress and where he needed extra practice. HIGHLY recommend her as an instructor!!!!! For the school itself, I'd give maybe 1 star. Totally chaotic and managed poorly. The 90 minute online course for parent/teen took 3 hours and the questions are flat out wrong on some of the quizzes. I received an instructor assignment and after one phone call, I never heard from him again until one day, three weeks later, he just showed up to my house and honked his horn in my driveway. When I asked why he hadn't responded to my phone calls, texts, emails he said, "Uh, sorry my phone was dead." I sent this person away as I did not feel comfortable at all sending my child with him. It took the school another 10 days, after my repeated calls and emails, to find another instructor. This was a very long and stressful process with the school. I am glad we got a 2nd instructor because she was awesome. Again, this review rating reflects her, not the school.

So many complaints I don't know where to begin but I will say that I am considering filing a complaint with DMV. They shouldn't be allowed to instruct new drivers. The first class was wrong because we picked behind the wheel which is practice vs new beginner. So the car is dirty, the instructor not paying attention. We got that straight and she started beginners class with a different instructor. Did I mention the instructor made stops at the store to get snacks? How about encouraging her to speed on narrow back roads. How about not keeping appointments, how about asking to look at the cows 8in a field. Not making this crap up. We still have 3 hours left and have asked for a refund. We are still waiting. Moving forward with FXBG Driving Academy. So far the communication has been positive so we are hopeful. I will follow up a review once we had a class.
