I must have walked by this studio 30 times before I actually went and signed up for a class. I…read morecouldn't get over how large this place is. I have yet to run into a yoga studio in south Jersey that has this much space. The place is stunning...I know because it stunned me. The lobby is warm, welcoming, calm and inviting. There is a lot of seating and a living room area with water/tea/magazines/etc. There are men's and ladies locker rooms in the back with showers and everything you will need to 'reset' after your practice. Lots of studios offer mat storage, here you can hang them completely open and let them dry off. Seriously, this studio is huge. The hot room itself is again...huge, it is new, modern, fresh, beautiful. My first visit here, I couldn't get over how lovely this place is. The classes I have taken have been with Suzanne, she is the owner and is very sweet and welcoming. This studio specializes in Hatha yoga featuring Ghosh lineage. Suzanne took the time to tell me that this is Tony Sanchez yoga not Bikram Choudhury yoga. There are several classes offered, the core 26, the core 30 and the master core 40. I have only taken the core 26 because that is the most frequently offered class and all I could make work around my work schedule. So here is my humble opinion about the yoga. This to me looks like Bikram, call it whatever you like....it still looks like Bikram. The room is not as hot or as humid and the grips are different in some of the poses. Everything else..... Bikram. If you are a practicing Bikram yogi, you will find that you are doing the grips incorrectly here. Such a minor detail, but worth mentioning. This studio is new, the owner told me she has only been around for a few months at this point. I hope she gets more students and is able to keep this lovely space open. I have only taken a few classes here and have found some of the other students to be very discourteous to both the instructor as well as the other practitioners in the room. Enter the studio with the intent to practice, bring what you need with you - mat, towel, whatever. I have never seen so many people go in and out of a room during a practice in my life. Stepping out for a towel, then out for water, out for a potty break, out for more water, out because it is too hot, out for whatever other stupid reason. This is a 90 minute class, get your act together and stay in the room. All of this commotion and exiting changes the temperature in an already not that hot room. It is distracting and simply rude to the person leading the class. There is an etiquette in yoga, some ... not all ... of the people that practice here do not seem to care about that. Overall, this is a nice studio and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a hot practice but is intimidated by 105 degrees and 40% humidity of traditional Bikram.

You feel relaxed as soon as you walk in and the room is huge - a great space and probably one of the biggest if not the biggest in the area. I love HOT yoga, used to doing Bikram in 100+ degrees but like that she keeps the temperature a little lower, around 95 degrees. Might not seem much of a difference but it is. I also love the Vinyasa classes they just started with Justin. If you're not into hot yoga, they offer Yin classes. They have decent size changing rooms and showers which is a plus. If you are an avid yogi or brand new to yoga, I highly recommend checking out Bluedeer!

Sweat, fear, apprehension, worry, stress, daily drama and all the b.s. that comes with being an adult. I want to get my heart rate up, twist, turn, pull, stretch, bend, move and leave having nothing left to give. To be honest, I get mad when the class I take has the group sitting around rolling our writs around for an hour. I can do that on my own thank you very much. Enter Justin & Yoga Rebellion. I ended up here because a friend is constantly talking about this place and all the great things that happen in this tiny studio in Haddon Heights. First, I was welcomed in and made to feel at ease - critical for a new person. Second, the studio is clean, intimate and heated. Critical - I hate yoga in the cold. Third, the class was so challenging! Holy CROW Pose! You want a workout, you'll get one here. For me the magic comes from what happens on the mat. When I'm trying to pay attention to the queues, trying to keep the flow, trying to land the pose, trying not to fall, etc ...I am not thinking about anything else. I get out of my head, I quiet my thoughts and leave feeling refreshed. That's the whole point, a reprieve a break from life - even if it is just for an hour. My friend is an amazing yogi. I'm not, I can't do any of those crazy inversions, arm balance sequences, I'm not flexible and I still can't turn myself inside and out. I won't lie, I was intimidated from all that I've heard. There was no need. If you are, don't be. Don't worry about anything other than yourself and your practice. Give it a try, you will be so glad you did. Cheers & Namaste.

When we arrived at 11:50, the kittens were still not there. They were brought in by Morris Animal Refuge. All the proceeds from the class went directly towards the needs of the refuge. Once we were settled in and the kittens got acclimated, our instructor, Heather, gave some background about Morris Animal Refuge. She stated it was a beginner level class and there wouldn't be a need for props. The class was actually pretty fast paced for beginner level! Heather said she would conclude five minutes early to give us a chance to take photos and spend time with the cats. The cats were amazing, but I wish there were more of them. They mostly hung around at the front of the studio but the volunteers from Morris would grab them and bring them around so everyone had a chance to see them. There were a lot of people in attendance for just a few cats. Amrita provided a clean and pleasant environment and a comfortable temperature for the class.

I immediately signed up for a class for the 1st day I was in town. Angela warmly welcomed me to her lovely and clean studio. She grabbed all my details and we got started. I signed up for an equipment class so expected more folks to turn up. However, she said she didn't have a minimum class size so I'd be getting a 1:1! It was a fantastic surprise. I had an amazing session with Angela. She kept me working hard the entire time. It was just what I needed after a long haul flight. I can't wait to get to my next class!

OGY has a group of highly trained instructors who will lead the way and make sure you are reaching your fullest space potential. I will usually go to yin on Mondays with Andrea (which is excellent BTW) but I have had the pleasure of also taking classes w/ Alyssa, Jess, Sakinah, Allie, Teresa, & Lauren, all of which are terrific instructors. This is not the closest studio to me, by far, but I go b/c they are very welcoming and nurturing to their students & all who attend. I recently attended a workshop that incorporated sounds (low singing, crystal bowls, & other sound techniques) and enjoyed it w/ the exception of the higher pitched sounds which were only occasionally played. Other than that, the hands on reiki & crystal bowls and the moves were terrific. So special workshops are offered every month if you'd like to try something new. You can go on the app and register for a class like 2 weeks ahead of time or you can even drop in for a class and they can sign you up right there for the class. Drop in classes & passes are available. Passes make it easier to sign up for a class & cheaper too! The studio itself is clean and always welcoming with a pleasant smell. The restroom in the corner is clean. There are many community items that you can use (ie. mats. blocks, bolsters. etc.) if you dont have your own (everyone usually uses everything & brings their mats). I have met some great people at OGY and continue to enjoy my yoga sessions when I go. Kudos to Alyssa & Co. for building such a reputable place where people can go to create their zen.

The class I booked was a nice, slow paced yoga experience which I needed because it has been years since I've taken a yoga class. The room was small and there were quite a few people taking the class today so it felt a little cramped, but it didn't impact the yoga experience at all. The room was warm and nicely lit and decorated. The yoga instructor (and owner I believe) was very sweet, knowledgeable, and a good instructor. I was surprised she didn't ask anyone if they had any injuries or difficulties she should be aware of. I have a pre-existing back injury and I would've loved to get her variations to promote my beck flexibility while limiting pain. Overall, a nice little studio with a good instructor! I'll definitely be going back for a few more classes and I'll update my review if anything changes!
