Moreover, I have contacted the company from whom Neil Taul states that he has placed the order, and I have been told that no order exists. I am deeply disappointed in this situation, as Taul Funeral Home's facility and staff seems so friendly and professional. The rest of the staff continues to be so, but Neil, who I am told runs four businesses, including Taul Monument Company, will not return my emails or phone calls. I cannot stress enough that my dissatisfaction is with Neil, and Neil only, as this lack of customer service and simple respect falls squarely on his shoulders. Jack

Searcy & Strong recently assisted us with the final arrangements for our beloved father. From the…read morefirst call, to the final internment, we received respect, caring, and compassion during every step of the process. Our guests to visitation were warmly welcomed and every step of the service the following day was handled with the utmost dignity. While many funeral directors offer adequate service, Searcy and Strong go the extra mile from the initial contact to the final closing of the grave at the cemetery to tend to every small detail when the family is at their most vulnerable. Going back to the gravesite later, I discovered that the closing crew had hand-placed the moss that was disturbed during grave digging back on the gravesite. A small touch perhaps, but a special one that warmed my heart when I saw the green moss instead of the cold, raw soil. This little touch was so respectful and indicative of our entire experience. If caring and compassion matter, Searcy & Strong is the best choice in the most difficult of times.

1 star is to much! I have to remain anonymous by request of my family who wanted to just "let it…read morego". They were told that a small quiet viewing could be held in a room inside , that was all they could afford. When they got there,their poor mothers body was strapped to a gurney, no curtain, no nothing but 4 old, dirty wooden chairs to sit on. They had her displayed just inside the garage door which also is the EMBALMING ROOM! They made no attempt to conceal their supplies, coffins, trash, or even the embalming machine itself! When asked WHY? They were given some bulls*it story about how the promised room has been used accidentally. THIS IS A FUNERAL HOME, FULL OF ROOMS! One other could not have been offered? I have trauma from this experience to say the least. I am currently trying to find out how to report this to the proper boards. My poor family wanted pictures, which broke my heart even more but may also serve as evidence for this unspeakable, inexcusable , horrific event that was my families sendoff for their mother. PLEASE , SOMEONE SEE THIS AND INVESTIGATE! DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE !!

I should mention that my father passed away on Thanksgiving around 4:00AM, and Grant and Tony were at the house probably 30 minutes after receiving the call, despite the holiday and early hour. Working within the industry, I was impressed with the standard of care Johnson's provided to my dad, and all of the little, extra things they did to show their compassion, to make our time of grief easier, and how they aided in my fathers funeral mass and celebration of life to make it a memorable, healing event. Grant was an exemplary professional, always checking with the family and working with us to ensure that everything was okay, explaining all of our options, guiding us through the process, and making sure everything was to our preference. Their prices were extremely reasonable too for the standard of care provided. They had buried someone right on top of my moms spot and put a stone their. Now when its time for the Good Lord take her we won't have room for her unless we hit my dads casket. They don't keep up the grounds as they tell you and you don't have a map layout of the cemetery. Don't buy from these people...they will do you wrong....
