We booked a last minute condo managed by this company the day before our arrival date. After booking we received an email telling us that there was a payment issue. I re-entered my card info 2 different times and kept having issues. The morning of our arrival, I received an email saying that if I don't enter payment information, my reservation will be cancelled. I entered in a new card and called to try and sort it over the phone. No answer. Left a voicemail, and hoped that the new card information worked. Shortly after I received a cancellation email. Again, I called - No answer again. So I left another voicemail. I was able to get a hold of a person via the sales office number, who was finally able to get someone to call me back. They told me that the room was already rebooked because there is a wait list (mind you, I booked the room the night before our stay) and that there was absolutely nothing they could do, leaving us to find a place on our own. The lack of communication and they way they communicated the issue was completely unprofessional. For someone looking to have your property manage here, I can only assume that the other services they provide are equally as unprofessional. I'd want the piece of mind that the company managing my guests are treating them with the utmost importance. Next time, I'll be sure to avoid any property managed by this company. read more

RJ and mountain management team has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with airbnb, or any other lodging service. We were going to be traveling to an event that has been tragically canceled. Unfortunately for my large group of 16 the majority of us had to cancel due to virus outbreak for safety and health issues. I was hoping to get a full refund due to the "epidemic disease and illness" section in airbnb's "extenuating circumstances" policy, but I was sadly mistaken. Every time I mention it to the hosts they always respond with the same soulless automated response of "we are sticking to our refund policy". I understand that they are a business and stick to policies, but I thought being in a pandemic there would a little sympathy. There is no sympathy to be found on their part even though multiple people in our party are currently sick with the coronavirus and have been advised to Quarantine. Currently I am waiting to here from the airbnb support team to see if I will be losing over $700 to this greedy terrible organization. My advice if you are looking for an airbnb go with literally any other option than the listings provided by this team. They do not treat you with respect and they do not treat you like any normal human would. read more

My grandpa and I own a cabin up in Breck and we've been looking for a reliable management company now that he can't manage it anymore. We wanted to avoid the usual, high fee, management companies that still use fax machines and finally got a referral to check out Mountain Management of Breckenridge. And I'm glad we did! These unthinkable people tried to shake me down for more than $3000 after I stayed at one of their properties. Their completely baseless claim was that a vintage arcade game, unused the entirety of my stay, was broken, their hot tub needed to be drained and refilled, and that the pool table had scuffs on it. I've never witnessed a more brazen shakedown for money in my whole life. Classless and scummy. Avoid these petty grifters at all costs. read more

Having just purchased a home in Breckenridge, we plan on living part time and renting the other. My wife and I rented a lovely home in Breckenridge for the week of June 5 - 12, 2021. The home - The Overlook - was located on Lomax Dr. and was just a short walk or drive to the city center of Breckenridge. There were five children and six adults occupying the home - our daughter and son and their families as well as my wife and me. The house was perfect and the folks at Pinnacle Lodging/Breckenridge Property Management were responsive and very professional. The home was clean, had all of the necessary amenities one would expect in a high-end luxury home. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The value for what we paid, the condition of the home and the service we received before and during our visit was exceptional. I would highly recommend this company and their inventory of homes for rent. read more

We absolutely loved our stay at the Val d'Isere Chalet. It was spotless upon arrival, and super easy to check in and out of. They also provided us with a booklet of all the best spots and deals in town which was nice for people like us who are unfamiliar with Breck. It was the perfect size for two people, had a beautiful view of the slopes and was a quick and easy walk to town. I would highly recommend the condo we stayed in as well as this company as a whole as our experience with them was better than we could have expected. read more

I wish I had even gotten to "stay" at the property I reserved, so I could fully review this "company. However, after accepting our Airbnb reservation and charging our card, they simply cancelled with no reason given, just weeks before arrival. Their reason- "we can no longer host you at this property". No alternate offered, no reason given. And we tried to contact them, they just ignored us. I would not recommend them just based on this. We now have to re-book a new place, and most are full- so we are having to redo our entire itinerary. If they treat prospective new customers like this I cannot imagine how poorly they will treat someone once they have the full fee! read more

I'm so unclear as to how they have great reviews. I chose to work with them because of the reviews here, but was SO disappointed. For background, we've been renting two of our homes on Airbnb and VRBO now for years. We had a hard time finding good, reliable cleaning in the mountains, so reached out and decided to do full property management since RJ spoke to their ability to get more bookings for most owners when they transfer over. I loved the premium services they spoke to, so figured it was worth a shot. We committed to work with them in mid-February - the heart of ski season. They took such a long time onboarding us (despite the fact that we already had our listing details and the place ready for rentals) that they were only able to get us one listing in March - the height of ski season and spring break. They tried to charge a management fee for a listing we had previously booked though the management fee was not identified in the contract, and my first owner statement had me owing money. I sent several emails and finally had to call to get a useful response on the explanation of my statement, and RJ didn't even seem to know what I was talking about despite being copied on several emails. All in all, I just feel like I wasted a month of potential bookings because I certainly would have received more from my own listing in that time than I did from theirs. All in all - I don't understand the value they bring besides cleaning. The cleaning service was great, but not worth getting charged for cleaning AND a 30% management fee. Airbnb is not hard to manage on your own, but I was willing to work with them for the premium services they described and the good reviews here. If they had offered only cleaning services and "property management light" services, I'm sure I'd still use them and be writing a positive review. As it stands, I see no value they bring, and found the service to be subpar despite premium rates. read more

We initially used Jasmine's services for cleaning of our home during our first season renting it out via VRBO/ Airbnb etc. However it didn't take long before we realized that Jasmine was doing much of what we expected the management company to do. She not only did a fantastic job of cleaning the home between stays but kept in constant contact with us regarding many of the small (and larger) maintenances issues that needed to be addressed and then handled those problems from beginning to end. We were referred to RJ Half and this business for management of our Denver property by Rented.com. We needed full management of a Denver condo and were told RJ was expanding into the Denver market. Initially RJs contact was good, but I didn't feel he could answer all of our questions, such as how much he might be able to get for a Denver condo. He met us for lunch to discuss doing business with him, and came to the meeting not professionally dressed in my opinion, and not prepared with any paperwork or info to give to us. Several times he said "I have to think about that" and did not lead the the conversation or try to sell his services to us. The next day we had an opportunity to show him the condo while it was vacant but he was not interested in making time to see it. The day before he mentioned his father coming to town, and then he tried to tell us he had a meeting in Breckenridge. We never heard from him again, so he completely wasted our time on the phone beforehand and during the lunch, when we had 24 hours in Denver to meet with managers and make decisions. It's beyond me why he said he wanted to move into the Denver market and made zero efforts here. read more
