I arrived here after a horrific accident rendered me with all major bones broken, with medical professionals expecting my demise. Since arriving at Life Care, my pain is controlled, I can stand for 4minutes and 15 seconds, and I bike from my wheelchair 12 minutes at 97% capacity. Care here is excellent, a few bumps here and there but overall an excellent place for patient care. I am blessed to be here. The PT was good however my aunt got scabies while at this facility and they did not acknowledge or…read moreaccept responsibility for the fact that when she went in she did not have scabies but left with it untreated. Additionally while I'd approved a small dose of melatonin and specified up to 3 mg dose max they instead put her on a 10mg dose without my approval. They also sent her home with a double dose strength statin without consulting her heart doctor. The office was mildly helpful after her personal belongings came up missing. After prodding they were able to produce one of the items lost and monetarily take care of the rest. To conclude, we appreciated the effort put in during PT, and were thankful for the office working with us on her missing items but were disappointed with the rest.

This was an incredibly difficult and emotional time for me and my family, but the VITAS team provided compassionate, professional, and deeply personal care every step of the way. I am especially grateful to Sharon and Leah, who went above and beyond to help me make the difficult decision to transition Randy into hospice care. They patiently answered my questions, offered guidance and reassurance, and helped me understand that this was the right decision for Randy. Randy's nurses were incredibly caring and attentive. They treated him with dignity, kindness, and respect, and they kept me informed by contacting me promptly whenever there were changes in his condition. Their communication gave me comfort and reassurance during an otherwise heartbreaking time. The compassion shown by the entire VITAS team made a profound difference. You cared not only for Randy, but also for me and my family, helping us feel supported and never alone. Thank you for your outstanding care, kindness, and dedication. From the moment I was transported from Sacred Heart Hospital (after being there a week) with a few medical complications. I was brought to Encompass and the staff was remarkable!! I would highly recommend you making the right choice with Encompass!! If I ever had to go to any rehab. facility it would ONLY be Encompass. I was treated so nicely by rehab, staff, (a special thanks to Kayla Y ,Kayla S, Daniel, Holly, Lindsay PRN, Audrey Case Manager and Rachel OT.,) ,administrators who were amazing, the nurses were so thorough and careful, the Dr. on staff was detailed and the pharmacist was so helpful , and the food was fantastic too!! Due to complications following a knee replacement, resulting in a spacer placement in my left knee,…read moreI elected to initiate rehabilitation in a facility dedicated to meeting those needs immediately after being discharged from the hospital. This is the 1st time I have done so. I usually go straight home. My friend and home health care physical therapist suggested I transition to a rehab facility prior to going home because of the challenges of being below the knee amputee on my right leg, it would be in my best interest and moving towards the best possible outcome. She recommended Encompass because she had heard good things. I can now personally testify to the EXCELLENT care I received over an 8 day stay. From the moment I was delivered into Encompass care until the moment I was discharged and on my way home, I received a quality of care that I have never experienced before. Every nurse, nursing tech, and physical therapist who implemented the care prescribed for me was exceptional. They listened to my concerns and reassured me as to the plans in place to meet my needs. Because this procedure is part of a series of steps needed to give me complete control of my quality of life they took care to explain clearly how everything would work together when the new hardware was installed and I was ultimately able to live my best life. And those were the folks I had minute by minute interaction with. My case worker, the doctors, and administrators were on point to ensure that they clearly directed the care my people implemented and made happen. I experienced the full spectrum of emotions from despair to joy, and my team was there and available to hold my hand or celebrate our victory. And that word TEAM is the most important to me. Encompass gave me a Team approach to successfully transitioning back home while continuing to progress to the new hardware installation. After which I will return to Encompass to complete this process knowing that my Team is there to support my needs whatever they may be in this next stage. I can not stress how incredible the people who make up Encompass are. From the top of the food chain to Mr. Bob in the kitchen to Hazel who cleaned up after me. My gratitude is immense and my recommendation is without caveat or hesitation.

I'm also fairly new to the area, don't have established dr yet and self pay. This place fit what I needed. I walked in about 1115 and was greeted promptly and filled out paperwork. The receptionist/nurse was very professional and kind. After getting my paperwork said be just a few min. I was taken to a room shortly after. She truly listened to what was going on and then I only waited a short time on dr who also was very kind and professional and actually listened as well. I feel I was properly diagnosed and given appropriate medications that were promptly called in to pharmacy. I was so happy about my visit as my husband needed an urgent care shortly after moving where not only was he not listened to, he was horribly misdiagnosed, delaying treatment and we had to wait till next day for prescription and charged an astronomical amount (800+) giving they saw him less than 5 min and his wait 4 hrs. My wait here from start to finish 1hr and my fee was around $95.00. This place definitely has my family's business in the future.
