We don't go for the food typically They do have some great specials and a fish fry that rocks. Our group are Wednesday regulars.

And so we stopped at Red Arrow road house . Its one off our go to places for great home cooking and rib specials , food is always great . Has the warmth of a old cabin type road house and the brews on tap are outstanding . My favorite is thier meatloaf and gravy with home made mash potatoes. One of my favorite meals as a kid. The service is so friendly and helpful. Lots of Items that are gluten free , and our server really understands it and is a great help with the menu. Merry Christmas . Remember your local restaurants could use the help and gift cards help them and your family and friends a nite out were they can enjoy a great meal like you do.

We came here for dinner over the 4th of July weekend and were surprised that there wasn't a wait!…read moreThe interior is decorated with taxidermy animals. Our kid got a kick out of it. We ordered the whitefish, which was really good, very buttery and generous portion size. The ribs were fairly tender but salty. The coleslaw was nice and I liked the potato salad the best (compared to the fries or red potato side options). My husband and was very interested in the walleye, but we wanted to mix it up. It was nice to share a little meat and fish. Our toddler ate up all the kids mac and cheese. And the blueberry fruit pie with ice cream was a fun way to end the meal - not too sweet. Service was friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly. Definitely a solid place.

Dining in a private Amish home is an incredible experience that ought to be on everyone's bucket…read morelist. This place was recommended to us not by a tourist but by a friendly relative of the Amish owner, Brenda Slabaugh (everyone in this settlement is close-knit). Like other in-home dining venues, the spacious room also serves as a social gathering and worship place for the Amish. Nearly everything in the huge kitchen is prepared from scratch and served family-style. The fixed menu includes bread, salad, chicken, roast beef, noodles, mashed potatoes, cooked vegetables, and assorted pies. Everything we tasted was phenomenal. Homemade peanut butter and jam, spread on fresh-baked bread, were ethereal. The 'colorific' salad was colorful indeed and tossed in a savory vinaigrette. White meat chicken fingers and dark meat were breaded and baked (not fried) to perfection. The beef (pot roast, perhaps) was fork-tender and juicy. All of the side dishes and pies were just as wonderful. Brenda and family members who helped her prepare and serve the meal were friendly and attentive to our needs, and happy to answer questions about Amish lifestyle and customs. Of course, a 'modern' restroom is available. This business is aimed at large parties and tour groups, but it's available to smaller parties on Wednesday evenings. Advance reservations are required
