Its one off our go to places for great home cooking and rib specials , food is always great . Has the warmth of a old cabin type road house and the brews on tap are outstanding . My favorite is thier meatloaf and gravy with home made mash potatoes. One of my favorite meals as a kid. The service is so friendly and helpful. Lots of Items that are gluten free , and our server really understands it and is a great help with the menu. Merry Christmas . A co-worker has a summer home in the area. I was heading to Bridgman and looking for a place to grab a bite and he suggested this place. Good recommendation! We went between lunch and dinner which was the way to go. We were able to get the last two seats at the bar. The bartender was friendly and provided good service. We had the buffalo cauliflower, bloody Mary's, meatloaf and cavatelli pasta. No complaints at all. We couldn't finish so we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow . Convenient location right off the main drag (red arrow highway). Fun name and lots of seating indoor, outdoor, and a bar with TVs. The decor is cute for Michigan and the theme of the restaurant is on point with lots of red arrows. The food was decent- Buffalo cauliflower wings were really good, would get those again for sure! The blue cheese chips were ok, they used to put bacon on them which was much better. And I wish they used blue cheese dressing + the crumbles instead of sour cream. Smaller portion which was fine for 4 people. The reason for 3 stars is really because of the service. The woman who served us, Cindy, was obviously having a bad day. We had to get up three times to ask for water and she was annoyed/overwhelmed to be helping us. It was a bummer because my family comes here every summer, and I haven't been back for a few years but was really looking forward to it. Hopefully next summer the service will be better :( read more

My wife and I are on ten year anniversary trip and decided to stop here for lunch. I had the pot roast sandwich. I've eaten a lot of sandwiches all across the country and I can confidently say that it was a top five sandwich of all time. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned; the cheese and onions were spot on; the bread was perfect, and the au jus was absolutely nailed! It's one of the those sandwiches I'll think about in my office in three years and go "man, that was good! I wish I was eating it right now!" My wife had the fish tacos and blueberry and jalapeño margarita. I'm not a fish or tequila fan but I did try her margarita because I like infused drinks. It was wild how good this was, but not for the faint because it was actually really spicy! It had great flavor but if you don't like spice, steer away from it. While a lot of those "spicy" drinks aren't really spicy and just kind of have a slight tang of heat, this thing brought the fire with their jalapeño infused tequila and spicy salt. The blueberry added a great hint of sweetness. Very good drink! I didn't try her fish tacos but she said they were delicious. There were two of them and they were packed full of fish, fresh lettuce, fresh pico, and whatever else was in them. There are a lot of good places to eat in the area but Red Arrow is a must try! Also, our server was great! I was torn between a few different things on the menu and asked her how fatty the pot roast sandwich was because I've have them be mostly fat before at other places. She recommended it saying it was the best thing on the menu besides the white fish. When I told her thank you and that it was delicious she said "I wasn't worried." If you want a place to eat where it is so loud you can hardly hear yourself think, this is it! Shortly after we ordered, a table a 10 all carrying drinks was seated next to us. Returning from a golf trip in Southwest Michigan, my dad and brother and brother-in-law we're all looking for some good food to fill our bellies after a long day on the links. I've got to say, this restaurant may have the most bang for your buck of any place in the Midwest. The prices are very reasonable, but the portions are substantial. My dad had one of the fish dishes, which was very delicious, and I had one of their burgers which definitely got the job done. The waiters and waitresses were incredibly kind, and had very happy vibes throughout the restaurant. My only recommendation is to make sure you come hungry, or don't mind having leftovers. Very casual atmosphere and family friendly. I had the Broasted Chicken and would do it again in a heartbeat. My wife had the whitefish (I don't do fish) and loved it. We had the peanut butter cup mudpie for desert, which was also great. I had to walk a few miles the following morning to burn off the extra calories, but it was worth it! read more

Been going there since they opened; it's always consistent in food and friendly competent service. The gumbo is excellent.

Huge fan of this place, and apparently others are as well as there is almost ALWAYS a wait for a table during prime dining times. But have no fear, that wait time is usually pretty reasonable and they also let you sit in your car and will call or text you (as to not crowd their tiny entrance way). They have both outdoor and indoor seating, and the ambience here is that of...a roadhouse! It's cozy and quaint, almost feels like a lodge with a little quirkiness mixed in. Service has always been awesome - most of the staff appears to have worked here awhile. The food is wholesome American comfort food - think ribs, meatloaf, open faced turkey sandwiches and the like. Some items rotate seasonally and they frequently offer specials as well! They also have an array of salads, soups, and sandwiches. Drink menu is great offering both craft cocktails, beer and some wines. I believe they are also open year-round which is great, as some places in the area only open seasonally for the tourist crowds. For some reason, I expected more from Red Arrow Roadhouse. Worth trying, but won't be going back soon. The main dining room was full, at 6 pm or so, but there were a couple tables left for the..enclosed patio? Not sure what to call it. At first, I thought it'd be fun sitting out there, but it's quite loud, the chandeliers are bathroom sized, and the windows are covered with tarps? Why can't we look outside? Food...hyped up by waitress, kinda let down once dish arrived. Ordered an off the menu fancy Chilean salmon and risotto...it was expensive, and should have been served on a small salad/side plate for how much I received...left feeling hungry. My dish also arrived too hot...like inedibly so. My husband ordered chicken Milanese Parmesan salad...which was way more food and tasted better, for less money. Drinks...expected more local fare, being in the backyard of so many wineries and distilleries, seemed like a bad move. Ordered the Round Barn sangria, reasonably priced and well presented/garnished. We ate here on a Saturday night. It was busy around 7:30 but we were sat right away. It wasn't too loud in there. The service was good. The food was tasty. We tried the crusted whitefish which was delicious and fresh. I was impressed with the coleslaw as it was creamy and a little sweet. We also tried the roasted chicken and burger which were also enjoyed. We had the coffee mud pie dessert which was fantastic with a delicious brownie, coffee ice cream, toffee and fresh whipped cream! My husband had the key lime pie which was light and fluffy. The only thing I didn't love was the margarita but overall would recommend this restaurant. read more

Have come here many years for dinner and carryout. Saturday night carryout was Lake Superior Whitefish which my friend really liked, but my order of Grilled Mahi tacos was mediocre. On the + side it included a generous portion of fish. There were large slices of in semi cut cabbage, pico de gallo on one taco, no queso Fresco and no chipotle cream on either one. The rice and beans were tasty on the side. My friend who'd never been to there almost got the tacos, but thankfully got the whitefish. I'll probably return assuming it was an off night, but am hesitant to refer others. I've had the whitefish many times and usually one of my favs. read more

Wow, we were absolutely delighted by our take out dinner from Red Arrow while renting a nearby home for the weekend. As others have shared, the Buffalo wings are a fantastic, shareable starter, so crispy and tasty with the right amount of heat. The seasonal whitefish was really fresh and the pub cheeseburger was cooked to perfection, seasoned very well and so juicy, served with a side of thin, crispy fries and toppings. Don't skip dessert. The homemade carrot cake that night was some of the best I've tasted in a long time. Our order was ready for pick-up in less than 20 minutes! And remember to tip the awesome staff here. I love the Red Arrow Roadhouse for many, many reasons. Cool place with a great vibe, been around a long time so it has character, excellent service and an inviting atmosphere. Also, they have a pretty broad menu so you can choose from meat heavy options to salads and flatbreads. Stayed at 4 stars instead of 5 simply because it can be very crowded and hard to get into (which is a good sign, but also can be frustrating if you're hungry) and also because their salads aren't of the same quality as their "comfort food" dishes. That said, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

Restaurant was packed and our server was very busy, but she made rounds regularly and was always delivering food, drink and menu recommendations (while training a new server). I had an amazing pizza salad, cocktails and wine, and dessert. The road signs and stuffed animals were fun to look at while we waited. This place has been on our list for awhile (thanks to their Facebook posts highlighting their weekly specials) and their Lobster Cobb salad was calling. We visited on a fall Saturday afternoon and had about a 20 minute wait (less than what was quoted) and were seated at a table inside. Everything is well spaced and they are following COVID-19 guidelines. We couldn't resist some of the specials and started with the pretzel sticks and queso. They were good, but not a wow for us. We would probably opt for something else next time. I couldn't resist the Lobster Cobb Salad and it did not disappoint. It was loaded with lobster, avocado, bacon hard boiled eggs and cheese (hold the tomatoes). Great value at $17 (I think). My husband ordered the beef and cheddar that was piled high with crispy onion straws and a great horseradish sauce. He also got a side of au jus. The fries were perfectly crisp and he even liked the cole slaw, which is usually not his thing. It's rare that we order dessert, but we couldn't pass up the apple pie bread pudding - served warm and topped with vanilla ice cream. Service was spot on and we'll definitely be back! read more
