I sold stock at a loss & with a 10% penalty to withdraw from my Ira account in order to have the funds to purchase. As well as took out a personal loan at 13% interest to fund my purchase. They literally paid for someone else's insurance policy with our money. We identified this issue in less than 20 minutes, however, after calling them over the course of 2 days and explaining the issue to them, they are still going to take about 20 DAYS to do their little investigation and "cut us a check" once they determine their mistake. You might have better luck having someone else manage your money; like a distant relative that you knew when you were 5 but don't speak to anymore, or a stranger on the street.

Do not recommend this company or the advisor Sherry Rubin Taylor who confidently represented herself and the product she sold as in my best interest. I've had two separate accounts with 10-year terms, and both have performed poorly. What was presented as a stable, long-term investment ended up delivering very little return while tying up my money for years. The biggest issue besides not making any money, not keeping up with inflation, over promising and under delivering, is how difficult it is to get out. These products come with steep surrender charges, which effectively lock you in--even when performance is disappointing. By the time you realize what's happening, your options are limited. I purchased these annuities through Pinnacle Financial, working with Sherry Rubin Taylor, who advised me year after year on how to allocate the funds. Over a 10-year period, my average return was approximately 1.92%--which is abysmal. I would have made more money in a basic CD with far less restriction and complexity. After more than 10 years of " expert advice" and losing money every year due to the rising cost of inflation and my interest rate being 1.7 the 2% I do not recommend the company or the advisor involved. I could not get my money out fast enough.
