It is not "luxurious," but is an excellent example of the single screen, small town theaters that have practically vanished in the U.S. It is very well maintained, and well attended by "locals." Ticket prices are around $7, which I think is fairly typical nationally. But unlike most other theaters and sports stadiums, the management does not try to gouge its customers with grossly over-priced concessions.

4 Stars for the theatre itself. It's a non-profit, one screen, reasonable ticket prices ($12 for…read moreadult tickets, $4 for popcorn, unheard of these days), and decently comfortably seats. Sitting in the front row might actually be the move! Another hot tip - get there at least 20-30 minutes early to secure tickets and your preferred seats as it is a small theatre. But I don't plan on going back anytime soon, and it's because of the patrons. The people next to us were talking at the movie (were they deranged, maybe?), not even pretending to whisper. And then all around us people were checking their phones, kept hearing alerts, seeing the bright light of their small screens light up their spot. Multiple people dropped their phones throughout the movie. Ultimately, while I was able to enjoy the movie, I couldn't wait to get out of there. It's just not worth it to me, and I'd much rather wait to see movies at home. Something changed us as a society after the Pandemic. This probably makes me a miserly old woman, so take my complaints with a grain of salt as you should any review on here.

The nostalgia alone is worth going! We went last night for the first time since the new owners took…read moreover. The popcorn was good and the drinks of course and candy... We didn't particularly like the hamburgers or the pizza. I wish they would fix the speakers because we couldn't get the app to work and I couldn't get the radio station to come in on my phone. We didn't turn on the radio in the truck because it didn't have a back window and we didn't know if we could hear it. We should've checked out a radio from the concession stand to use, but we didn't. But that is a really cool option that they have. The prices are great, and all of the staff members were super friendly and helpful.

The newly remodeled concessions stand is definitely a highlight--plenty of tasty food options,…read morequick service, and clean facilities. However, the overall movie experience was frustrating. We arrived early and sat through over an hour of waiting until sunset, which is understandable for a drive-in. But then previews kept looping for another 45 minutes to an hour after they gave a 'few minutes until movie starts' announcement. The movie didn't actually start until 9:45, meaning we were sitting there for nearly two hours before anything began, way after the sun had already set. It felt like there was a lack of awareness or consideration for the audience's time. If they could tighten up the schedule and cut down the endless previews, this place would be a much better experience. As it stands, the concessions are great--but come prepared for a long wait.
