Recently bought a house and wanted to have it professionally cleaned before moving in, as the sellers left in a hurry and didn't leave the place very clean. Found Brennan and Co. on Yelp, saw they had decent reviews, and went with them. Scheduling was straight forward, and while I wasn't around when the cleaning took place, I assumed they showed up promptly. They sent me a text when they arrived and left a slip indicating the areas that'd been cleaned. The quality of their work left much to be desired. Over the phone they went over all of the areas they'd be meticulously cleaning, but the outcome determined this was definitely an oversell. On the surface the house did appear marginally cleaner than when I first took the keys. Upon a deeper look, a lot was missed. Hairs found in the shower, dust and dirt strewn about, a plethora of dust and dirt embedded in the windows and blinds (this was an area they told me over the phone they took addition time and care to clean), dirt and crumbs in the kitchen cabinets and drawers, to name a few issues. I don't mean to come off as particular, but I feel like if you spend $500 for a move-in "deep cleaning" you should get to be. This is the only cleaning service I've used personally so I have nothing to compare it to, but I'd avoid this one and try your hand at one of the many other services in the area if you're looking for integrity and attention to detail. read more

Update: Have been using Brennan and Co for almost a year now and we are still very happy with the staff and 5e services they offer! My only ding would be that they eventually get you down to just one technician. Not that he isn't t dong a wonderful job...he is....but we opted for a group that would send a crew out to get it done more quickly. Great work! I have never used a cleaning company before, we moved out of our rental house and needed it cleaned for the landlord to inspect. I called Kris, and left a message. She called me back and we set up the appointment to clean the house. I was in the process of still packing up the house and she was very encouraging. We had a really nice conversation and I could tell that I liked her right away. On the day of the cleaning, three women came to the house and I let them in. It took about three hours for them to clean, but it was a rather large house, and we really hadn't been keeping up on cleaning that well. The team did an excellent job! Update! After several late and one final missed appointment (3 hours prior to scheduled time), I fired them. Mismanagement of scheduling, even after sending 2 confirmations! Good people working for Kris and her husband. I hope they find jobs elsewhere where they will be treated better. So far so good! I have had three cleanings and 2/3 were fantastic! The owners are very forthright. Scheduling is a bit tricky but the results are worth it. We have mostly tile and wood floors with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. We love Brennan Cleaning. Our team of super cleaners always arrive on time, take their time cleaning every nook and cranny, and are open to any notes we leave asking for special treatment (vacuum sofa pillows, or use a specific cleaner, etc.). A three person team usually spends close to 3 hours working on our single story home and they always leave it immaculate. We have dogs and they are very friendly with them (we keep them up but the crew still says hello). They've organized some of our spaces after cleaning, which are the little touches that mean a lot. I feel like the prices are fine, about on par with other services we've used in the past. The owner is very reachable and is always willing to hear your concerns or praise. She is a problem solver and has taken good care of us whenever an issue comes up. If you're looking for a team to clean your home as if you were doing it yourself then at least give Brennan a chance. read more

I have been using Brennan to clean my house regularly for over a year. I've used other companies and people off Craigslist. Brennan is head and shoulders above the rest. Quality, great communication, trustworthy people, good with my dogs (I have 5) and very reasonable rates. They are very thorough - floors, counters, bathrooms, make my bed, even fold clean clothes that were left out. They even get the spots up high like door frames and the top of the refrigerator and TV's. I like that they communicate and confirm via text. Appointments can be made online thru my own account portal. I can choose different cleanings and times, including set up a recurring cleaning for which they give a discount. Give Brennan a try. Julianna, Corina, and Melissa were an awesome crew...thorough and efficient. Within a few hours, they had the house looking as clean as I've ever seen it, and they actually seemed to enjoy their job!! Although our house was not a huge mess it had not been professionally cleaned in forever. Our appointment was for 11:30, but the ladies did not show up until about 12:30, but we were given both a voicemail and text explaining that they were running late. No problem as it was within the window we were given and the communication was good. Our house is a 4 bedroom/2 bath that took them about 3 hours to clean. They did a top to bottom clean and got things clean that I thought we were never going to see clean again. I paid for a Deep Clean. Apparently I was wrong to think my house would be clean. Two gals, both very nice, however, nice doesn't get the job done! I have been finding things the missed all week. Selective cupboards were cleaned, toothpaste on the bathroom cupboards still. They didn't move any items to dust under anything, which means they did not dust any lamps, vases or picture frames. They missed dusting some shades in each room, some spots on the floors and half my kitchen counter. Also, when it says they clean the face of your appliances...don't expect the top of the doors to be dusted. I would not use Brennan & Co again! The $$$$ doesn't pencil out with the poor work that was done. read more

The good? They vacuumed, swept, and mopped well. The bad? Poor dusting. Had them clean a 700 sqft apt today and pointed out specifically what needed to be dusted. They got there at 11:30am and I had to step out for a bit but told them so and that I'd be back by 1pm. Got back they were gone and the specific things I'd asked for weren't completed. I don't have time to even have them come back to fix it and honestly it should've been done right the first time. I had high expectations for this company but I'm pretty disappointed.
