Every realtor told me the same story of how the market is (sellers market) and what I could expect. The on-line realtor promised a lot more so I started down their path. I shared their bottom line with the other realtors. Only Karen replied and told me flat out that she couldn't beat their deal and suggested I stay with them - very honest and I respected that. My house was reviewed by the on-line buyer's people and an offer was made for the stated amount. However in their contract they took a lot of money off the table for potential repairs. I contacted Honest Karen to see if she could do better, she thought she could, and more importantly she did. The house sold for considerably more than we asked with few concessions to the buyer. I came out way ahead of the on-line realtor's deal. What I like about Karen is her honesty, her straight forward way of doing business, and her results.

I'm providing my own review so that either (1) others will think twice about hiring her or (2) Tanika will try to do a better job selling their house. She was rude at times and almost did nothing after putting my house on the market. The posting had a lot of typos. Crucial information that typical buyers would want to know were not included. I already moved to a new house, and once when I went back to my old house for sale, an interested buyer arrived and said she didn't know how to get inside the community before she saw us. I wonder how many more buyers we lost due to lack of property details in her posting. When I first signed the contract with her to put my house on the market, I asked her to include the appliances in the sale of the house and use it for price negotiations. After all pricing between buyer was settled, she texted, asking if I'm leaving those appliances in the house. They were specifically mentioned in our contract agreement so why would she ask after negotiations? So, I left those for the buyer "for free" (I'm being sarcastic). As with the other guy who put his review here, Tanika was a no-show during closing. Not a single word from her after the sale. If you are selling your house, you should trust your gut if you feel she isn't the right person to hire.
