He has helped our family not once, but twice, and both times he has done a superb job of representing us, and keeping us informed every step of the way, and making sure our interests come first. I have worked with few lawyers here in Reno, and some of them talk a good game, and then after you've hired them, they promptly disappear on you, leaving you to their staff the rest of the time. Matt has a great staff, but he is the only lawyer I've worked with that is actively engaged all the time. I am not affiliated or related to anyone there, I just felt compelled to leave this review. Go see him if you need help, he's the best there is.

Most attorneys want lots of money, so I was a bit worried how this consultation was going to go. I took both my sons so they could give the attorney the story of what happened. We spoke with Mr. Dion and told him the who, what, where and how of the incident and he told us that he believed we had a case however he didn't want to take it because the injuries were minor and he thought it would be better if I contacted the other party and see if they would be willing to help pay for the medical bills and injuries to my 2 sons before we try to go through an attorney because I am sure they are expensive. I appreciate his honesty and advice. He was NOT just a greedy attorney.

Landlord tenant issues is a big thing out there. They have went through 9 managers now. Wendy Roldan has allowed tenants to break the lease harassing others ( herself not professional at all: no showing me for every appointment. With out a call. ) The most condescending, rude, and disrespectful person yet they have hired to run this property. Now these individuals here. I got a referral from the city of Reno Health department. ( several complaints South Ridge Apartments aka FPI refuses to address: while tenants suffer second hand smoke or worse) I'm completely handicapped now. 5 years living on this property. Declared here after FPI purchased South Ridge property. The he first lawyer called left three messages. I responded. Tried to schedule but their staff said that I failed to respond they were dropping me? I requested to talk to the office manager. I had told them years I had rights. Like the city of Reno told me too. That the lease is definitely being broken. So we continue to report. Then contact. My other dog bleed out. Died of urinary tract infection then got diabetes. There's tenants that have assaulted me ( 6 restraining orders : I'm being attacked) Now my new rescue in my own home from them once again putting smoke, smells, and strong chemical odor into my home. My rescue will get diarrhea until she starts to get liquid then blood. She a Siberian Husky who since my attack can't be out of my site fearful for her life now. These individuals have made her so fearful that if you try to touch her she hides behind me goes under a car.( she wasn't this bad when I got her: they terrorize us day and night while they all watch ) But the office staff claims I'm rude. My voice is harsh because I got damaged from exposure to black mold. All the smoke and other chemicals out in all the time. The stress of walking to and from my car. My rescue dying. And these individuals refusing ti Ri their job. Simply because I'm upset. (2 1/3 years they said I had no rights when I always did. We all knew it: now the same situation 2 years in ) Just refusing. The lawyers all working comfortably from home. Show up as they see fit. Maybe most likely not. To help anyone. Especially me. They would assist in my moving. ( oh more then that my medical bills and plus from my hateful people. Which they never care to get the entire story. ) The staff refuses tibias on messages. Not helpful at all after I was excepted as a client. Fights with what my understanding is. And what they were told when it comes to bothering them at home. ( paid vacation forever) It's no wonder we have so many homeless. Here's exactly how it starts. With individuals too busy to do the right thing. Doing everything possible not to help when they are csp

The best estate attorney we ever met…read more The wife and I needed to create a new "Living Trust" now that we are in Nevada. For something this important, we wanted to do a lot of research. Maybe we are a bit pickier about this task since my wife was a paralegal in a law firm for over 30 years and I have been the executor for two of my family members in the past, so I am very familiar with what goes on in handling final affairs of others during probate. A long and complicated process. This is why we chose to create a trust among other reasons. We went to two different seminars from other companies that create Trusts / Wills. Frankly we weren't impressed with one of the companies that did a seminar, and the other company was fair. They were not law firms. Then we called and spoke with Keven who gave us a telephone consultation so we wouldn't have to go to the office for that. He spent a lot of time, and we did not feel rushed to get off the phone. His answers to questions were right on target, VERY informative, and perfectly accurate rather than things we heard in seminars. After discussing with the wife a few days, we chose them. It would cost us a little more to have a REAL law firm do the work, yet well worth it. Since Keven's law firm specializes in this area of law instead of being a catch all law firm, we got the exact personal service we needed. When it came time to do the trust, Allison handled all the details expertly and quickly while giving us time to change things along the process. When we visited their office for the final signing, we were even more impressed with the really personal, friendly approach presented by Keven and Allison. We feel like we were treated as members of the family. They are also obviously really intelligent people across the board, not just about Wills and Trusts. We received the final nice binder of documents the other day and everything was excellent. I could go on, but you get the point. You won't regret choosing their law firm to handle this very important set of documents.

For years, my husband and I had been putting off doing our estate plan. Just the thought of starting it seemed very daunting. Thanks to estate planning attorney, Kevin Walsh, and operations manager, Allison Cairns -- they made the whole estate planning process very easy for us. They had been with us from the initial consultation to completion, and they are still caring for us up to the present. I'm confident they will be there for us in the years to come. HERE ARE THE THINGS THAT SETS "THE LIVING TRUST SOURCE" APART FROM THE COMPETITION: READILY AVAILABLE and RESPONSIVE - In Reno, there seems to be a shortage of estate planning lawyers, so it's very difficult to set up an appointment unless you're willing to wait for months just to get an initial consultation. But when we contacted The Living Trust Source and asked if we could get an appointment soon, they were able to accommodate us and we were able to do our initial consultation within a week. They were also quick and gracious in returning our calls and emails whenever we needed them. CONVENIENCE - Conducting meetings with Kevin was very convenient. We were able to meet with him via Zoom video call, and sometimes, via phone. We didn't have to leave our house. The only time we had to do it in person was during the signing of the documents. Even the signing process was convenient. They gave us options to meet either at our house, at a nearby park, or at their office -- whichever was comfortable for us. They also helped arrange for 2 persons that would sign as witnesses. They provided a full service, one-stop shop since Allison was also the notary public when we did the signing. CLEAR, THOROUGH and ORGANIZED - At the start of the service, they provided us with a clear, step-by-step overview of the process. Upon completion, they had organized our Living Trust and Wills in a professional quality binder, with easy to understand summary of documents and their purpose, as well as clear instructions how we can easily transfer assets to the Trust. All the documents were scanned and stored in a USB. KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROFESSIONAL, RELIABLE, and GOOD AT EXPLAINING -- During the consultation phase, we had asked Kevin a lot of questions, expressed our concerns, and presented him with what-if scenarios unique to our situation. Kevin carefully listened, addressed all of them, and gave us his professional advise. He was very good at explaining everything to us. INDIVIDUALIZED / TAILOR-MADE - After hearing our plans and wishes, Kevin was able to draft our estate plan exactly according to how we wanted to handle our estate. We're very pleased! REASONABLE COST / NO HIDDEN FEES - I would say that the cost they charge for estate planning is about the same as other law firms I contacted in the area. Now, I've seen some law practices websites that show a low starting cost, but be aware that only the very basic stuff is included in their starting fee. With The Living Trust Source we got a comprehensive set of documents. A flat fee was quoted to us prior to signing the contract. Everything was disclosed upfront. There were no surprise/hidden fees whatsoever. VALUE - At first, we were thinking of doing estate planning all by ourselves and just fill out generic forms to save money. I'm so glad we didn't go that DIY route. Upon consultation with Kevin, we learned so much in the process and realized that had we done the estate plan ourselves, we would have made erroneous decisions that would lead to problems in the future -- leaving our family with a mess to cleanup and costing them more money in the long run. FOLLOW THROUGH - Finally, we were really impressed with the fact that after the creation of our Trust / Estate Plan, Kevin and Allison didn't just stop there. They were always in contact with us to ensure that there were no loose ends remaining and that all probate-triggering assets were placed in the Trust. They did their yearly audit of documents and corrected what needed correcting (i.e. we had to re-do the signing of one document, but as always they made it very convenient and with no extra cost to us). They always encouraged us to give them a call should we have any questions down the road. They also offered support should our family need their assistance in the future.
