Communication was straightforward and easy. The work itself went above and beyond what I expected. I initially thought I had four locks to change, but he ended up handling all six. He also proactively offered to replace the deadbolt, including adjusting the strike plate, doing the necessary chiseling, and aligning the door so the bolt closed cleanly. He made sure everything was keyed consistently, fixed alignment issues with the door and hardware, and even addressed a turn knob that wasn't seating properly -- all without hesitation. Overall, he was efficient, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in doing the job right. Very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend J&B Lock.

I got to the home and had no way of getting in as the key that was to be used for Emergency was not where it was suppose to be. The officers said they could not go into the house even though I was requesting a welfare check. Soon after the officer left, I called a family member of my friend and she did not have the right key to get in. I quickly did a google search for a locksmith in the area. Fortunately, I got John. John was able to open the door and we found my good friend decease. Naturally, I was upset and so was the relative. After calming down, I went out to pay the locksmith for his service. This man gave me a hug and said he was so sorry for my loss and said he would not accept payment under these circumstances. He called the police and everyone else that needed to be called. I can not say enough about this man as he showed compassion and concern. I want every person to use this man as he didn't have to do what he did and I am forever grateful to him. So if you need a person who cares about what he does, call him. He is caring and good at his job. I want to give him 10 stars but it won't allow. I appreciated that he was willing to quote and make a plan through messaging because I really didn't have time for a phone call and I needed my door handle changed fairly quickly. He came out to the house exactly as we planned and replaced my old handle with a new digital coded handle. He knew his stuff well enough to easily explain things to me and was also a really nice guy. So, I go back to look at the messages and I notice a picture of the same guy for 2 different companies. Like, what type of scam is this? (Ok, more than likely the same guy) To be fair, this guy wasn't rude, he used please thank you and even told me to have a good day before WE ended the call. This lock was extremely jammed due to my own user error. Within minutes Yan was able to get the lock back in working order. Feeling very luck right now!! After the lock was fixed he went around and sprayed pro-grade lubricant in the 11 other locks. Above and beyond! Very fair pricing for meeting us on a holiday (4th of July)!! By 5:30pm they still hadn't called back. I called and they answered and said they were short staffed and must of just missed our ticket. Said they would call the technician and see where he was at and they would come out tonight still. They texted me at 6:00pm and said they can't come out today that it'll have to be the next day at 2:00pm. Very unprofessional and would not recommend.
