When medical doctors missed the extent of a serious knee surgery, their physiotherapist identified every aspect of it which was consistent with a subsequent MRI. This injury then required two knee surgeries and would have gone undetected leading to further serious injury had we not gone to Brentwood Physiotherapy. This is only one example of their abilities and they have consistently helped our family, young and old, resolve a multitude of issues. If you have had previous physio at places where the therapist is treating up to 4 other people at the same time that they are treating you, and mostly they are just giving you heat and a tens machine, then you need to know this is going to be a WAY BETTER EXPERIENCE! I have been going here for a long time, to treat a chronic issue that I have, ( and have been to more than a few chiropractors and physiotherapists to get relief) and have recommended Brentwood physio to family and friends who have needed physio, and everyone raves about the care that they have received. All the care is hands on, literally, these physiotherapists are trained to manipulate muscles and joints. ( I don't know if its because many of them are not trained in Canada, but if I ever moved and have to find a new clinic, I would look for physiotherapists that have been trained somewhere other than Canada). I was suffering from vertigo and the meds my doctor gave me did not provide any relief. After researching other treatments, I found that some physiotherapists specialize in vertigo treatment. I found Brenda's information on the Internet. I called for an appointment. The receptionist was exceptional and she got me an appointment within one day. Brenda, the physiotherapist, was amazing. After one treatment, I was feeling so much better. After I left my first appointment, I said to my husband "do you want to go out for lunch?" He was shocked because before my treatment, I wasn't moving out of the house. I would go back to Brenda in a minute for any ailment that needs the help of a physiotherapist. I have had three surgeries on my wrist/arm within a two year period. I had an unfortunate bad experience with physio at another place and did not trust anyone working with my wrist/hand. I just finished my final appointment with Brentwood Physiotherapy. I had a lot of back pain when I came in for my first of four appointments. I had been putting up with this pain for two years until I finally decided to get it checked out. The physiotherapist I saw was really helpful. Not only did I get the results I wanted but she also took the time to explain everything and educate me on how my specific injury occurred and what I can do to prevent it. Turns out I've been lifting weights at the gym incorrectly for years! Thanks to my physio, I not only had a 100% recovery but I will also have strong lifts with no chance of re injury! I came in seeking treatment for a year's worth of back pain, and within two sessions was feeling better. I would highly recommend Brentwood Physiotherapy. I injured my knee playing volleyball and I thought I might have torn my ACL. I went to my first appointment within 24hrs of calling. I was seen and evaluated immediately. It did not appear that my ACL was torn but I had a severe sprain and the physiotherapist started my treatment right away. I continued the treatment and strengthening exercises for another couple of weeks on a regular basis. I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the staff, the extent to which they ensured the treatment addressed my specific injuries and their accommodation of my work schedule. read more

I came in because of a neck issue that I've been dealing with for years! I've been going to a chiropractor for years and this issue was never resolved. It was probably a 2/10 on the pain scale but it was annoying and I felt like I was getting lied to by my chiropractor. So I booked with Brentwood Physiotherapy! I found this place through yelp reviews and have gone there for my shoulder pain a couple of times. My physiotherapist Ken is very caring, knowledgeable and responsible. I would definitely suggest this clinic, it has great and friendly staff and the location is perfect if you are taking the train. I sprained my ankle while camping. I made the mistake of not booking with Brentwood Physio right away. After two months of wearing a brace, my ankle was still hurting so I booked an appointment.
