The filling came out the tooth was broken. I went to a local dentist who stated that yes the tooth was broken like I thought when I went to the other place to start with. You know it is hard enough dealing with daily life to start with but for me in general I have mental health and physical health issues which complicate it even more so then when I need care I need for the "professionals" to "hear" ME. Sure they acknowledge that you are speaking to them but they do not "hear" you as they have already formed their own opinion and will treat you the way they want not the way you need. I had the local guy yank it out ended up paying out of pocket for it though and that was the only reason I went somewhere else to start with as I did not want to have to pay out of pocket. This experience left a very unpleasant memory that I am still trying to process and heal from on the mental health level. I need to find a family dentist but am absolutely terrified that the one I pick wont hear me like the dentist as Carlisle Pike Family Dentistry chose not to HEAR me and meet my needs per my request. It's so sad because like i stated they got me in quickly, the place itself was clean, the atmosphere was calming but I was not heard. Had I been I most likely would still be using them.

I was a patient here for about 2-2.5 years and had a very positive experience with Sarah Lynch. At a check-up appointment I came in for, they told me I "all of a sudden" had 4 cavities and needed to set up appointments for those to get filled. I was upset- I had never had a cavity before and almost didn't believe them. I decided to pursue getting a second opinion with X-Rays and pointed out the 4 teeth that had "cavities" and they told me I didn't have any cavities because I had sealants and it was almost impossible for me to have a cavity. I pursued it further and they had a second doctor come in to check out the X-Rays and they told me I didn't have any cavities and were showing me what I should be looking for on the X-Ray if I were to have a cavity. They also used this scanning machine and told me I didn't have any cavities ( after I insisted on them doing their best to prove that my dentist wasn't lying). It was an interesting appointment but to say the least, I won't be returning to Sarah Lynch because I believe her equipment was not working properly, she was lying about the fact that I had cavities, or her equipment is too to be used in this manner. She's a very nice dentist but I would be careful here! I disaffiliated from this practice because of this reason.

From the time that I called I was very impressed with the staff who was kind and helpful. Dr. Lynch found two cavities so I had them filled, after getting nitrous oxide. While getting dental work is never fun, Dr. Lynch takes making sure that you are comfortable very seriously and I am very happy with the result (no pain and minimal discomfort). Highly recommend for anyone, and if you don't like going to the dentist be up front and professional about your anxiety and you will be well treated.

The place is modern inside; it feels new and up-to-date. The office staff were friendly and professional and got me out of the waiting room and into an exam room quickly. After my X-rays, the dentist did my teeth cleaning. This was new for me because I've only ever had cleanings from hygienists, not the dentist. I was impressed--it felt like she was really getting to know my teeth, not just swooping in after a cleaning to look for a few seconds before swooping out again, which has been my typical experience at other practices. Two things I really appreciate: 1) they have early morning appointments so patients don't have to take off work every six months for a cleaning. 2) they have a prize box for adults at the check out! I got a weird little eggplant charm from the prize box! Overall, this seems like a great dental practice and, so far, I'm really happy with the care I've gotten.

I had a few cleanings done here, which were pretty normal. Like others have said, I had to wait longer than expected but nothing too drastic. I did end of switching providers though after one too many bad experiences that could not be coincidental. Saga as follows: -They switched dentists between my 2nd and 3rd cleaning here. During the second cleaning I was told I would need multiple fillings (which I kept procrastinating...) During the 3rd cleaning the new dentist said I did not need any... (to give benefit of the doubt, maybe every dentist is different...? But I felt like the previous dentist was just trying to get money out of me! -They were VERY hesitant to give a referral for a wisdom tooth extraction to anywhere but one specific place (which didn't take my insurance) Once I finally jumped through all the hoops for them to finally release my information to who I was asking them to, they only sent part of my record and I had to get X-rays redone at the place I was getting my wisdom teeth out because they "didn't have it" -During my 3rd cleaning they took the X-rays again because the "didn't have them" How do you misplace X-rays...? ‍ - the new dentist was really demeaning, mansplained EVERYTHING to me, even restated something I literally just said, and used my name every other second thinking he was "connecting with me." I did not like it! But I was thankful he retook the X-ray "for free" (not my fault they misplaced it though...) and did not lie about my filling so that was nice... mixed reviews on him -Nail in the coffin, my last appointment was 7/22 and i have not heard from them since (except to cancel a cleaning 1/23 because I decided not to continue with them...!) All of a sudden I get a collection notice in the mail saying I owe them money for my last cleaning.... I called to ask why I didn't get a bill or a call or anything. They claim they sent 8 bills before sending to collection but I did not get 1... Needless to say: proceed with caution. The people are not bad (also not the best...) but I had one too many bad experiences for it to be coincidence.
