When Chrissy showed up, talked to us, and took us around Chicago she took all those nerves away. Everything went so smooth and it felt so easy and we couldn't thank Chrissy enough for providing such a warm and light environment. Our families even commented on how sweet and helpful she was. She is so sweet and never makes you feel uncomfortable. She is so knowledgeable about what looks good and improvises if things don't quite work out how they were planned. We had planned to get sunset pictures during our reception, but it down poured and was storming the entire night. Instead of just not getting any pictures outside, Chrissy had the great idea to get pics outside with an umbrella (after the storms were gone) and these turned out to be some of our favorites!! When I finally got them back, I noticed there was nothing at all that she had done to the pictures. So I asked her why they took 6 to 8 weeks for me to get them back when there was nothing you did to them all. She Just told me that that is standard for how long it takes for her to get them to me. I still did not understand how long it took for what? You did nothing to these pictures. Plus you had so many more pictures you took and you deleted them. You told me that you went through the photos and deleted the ones you did not like. I would've rather you just sent the pictures to me on a flash drive after the wedding and I could've just decided which pictures I wanted to keep and which I wanted to delete. That isn't your decision to make. So when I had asked you if I could get the remaining pictures or at least a couple that I specifically requested. I remembered her taking certain pictures and when I looked through all of them I noticed those specific pictures were not there. So I asked if I could get those and she said yes. So I waited for months and months and I kept contacting her asking her where the photos were. She stopped responding. A year later, I've still not heard from her and I've still not gotten the rest of my wedding photos. I think the way she handled the whole thing was very unprofessional. I was kinda displeased with the photos I did get. Especially after asking friends how much they spent on their wedding photos and seeing their pictures. Many of my photos were blurry and others were not at all what I asked her to take, I didn't even get pictures of all of my bridesmaids and the groomsmen. I didn't get a picture with my entire family. I asked her about that she just said she didn't find the right time to get those pictures. As a photographer and you're supposed to find the right time.Those are some important pictures that meant something to me. I can never go back and get those. I personally wouldn't recommend her as a photographer, for the amount of money you pay, you could get somebody more professional.
