My family and I have never done a family photo shoot and we were excited to at least get one photo for a canvas. We had no idea how to pose or what to do. Miguel was the perfect photographer, especially for people who are not experienced in getting their photo taken. We love all of the poses that he suggested. He was so funny and personable which helped capture some really organic smiles and happy moments. We also included our puppy in the photo shoot and he did such a great job capturing our dog and getting her attention as well. Needless to say we've gotten much more than one good photo that we set out for. I would definitely recommend MN photography to all of my family and friends and look forward to booking again in the future. Perhaps next time at an outdoor photo shoot as this particular shoot was at his private studio.

What's included in the package is made unclear, so I never got what I expected. In addition, during the shoot he said that he could take my arm out if I had it on my kiddo and when I reminded him of this later, he said that was considered a complex edit and would cost money but they'd do it complmenetary that time. Had he told me this at the time of the shoot, we would have done something differently to get photos without me there in the background. Not cool.

From the time he received the photo in horrible shape (the cracks had been held together with duct tape), Andy was confident that he had everything under control as we held our breath. Our little newborn Ella was 9 days old when I realized how important it was to photograph her in all the newborn goodness. I was always pretty judgemental about those "baby in a basket" sessions. You don't really get how unique that time in life is until you hold your own little child in your hands. I discovered you've got to photograph newborns within 14 days of their birth, otherwise it gets difficult for them to stay sleepy and stationary for a photo session. I had a minor meltdown trying to reach an incredible, well-known newborn photographer from Wisconsin. They did get a hold of me, but said I needed to come to Wisconsin with the baby for the session because of their busy schedule. They also recommended Patricia Anderson here in Chicago. I was elated to hear back from Patricia that evening. Patricia had a full schedule, but after **slightly** begging her, she fit me into her weekend schedule and we got Ella scheduled for a session at 11 days young. **AH** thank you thank you! Patricia is so easy to work with. She handles everything once you get to the studio. She took baby Ella and all we had to do was watch in amazement as the 1 hour mini session unfolded. Turn around was quick - we were able to see the photographs the same week. Man, did she deliver!
