Inside, the ambiance is calm and relaxed, with hip jazz playing softly in the background. There's a mix of regular seating and a small bar section, plus a pleasant sitting area that should be great when the weather is nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in, and they were genuinely helpful with recommendations--particularly when I was deciding between drink options. I ended up with an egg and cheese sandwich on a Kaiser roll that came out steaming hot: the roll was light and fluffy, and the whole sandwich was simple but really well done. I also had a shot of espresso that arrived in a very nice presentation on a wooden board, paired with a side of sparkling water, which was a thoughtful touch and made the experience feel a bit special. On their recommendation I tried the honey lavender latte made with local spicy honey; it was unique, flavorful, and not something you see everywhere. Overall, Bean Bar feels like a low-key, well-put-together café with good parking, a relaxed vibe, kind staff, and drinks and food that show real care.

Loved the menu choices, which included a chaga matcha that I thoroughly enjoyed. Not many options for breakfast, but what they have is good. They have "topping" options as well, I had the strawberry jalapeño one, not enough jalapeño for me personally. Staff super friendly & they are pet friendly too, dog bowls are outside along with their outdoor seating option. In addition to drinks, simple syrups, and coffee, they also sell jewelry, totes, etc. Would come back and visit when I'm back in town!

A quick check of the map showed Nana's Coffee was right on our route, so it became an easy and welcome stop. The storefront is small and unassuming, tucked into a quiet stretch of road, but inside it opens up into a cozy space that doubles as both ice cream parlor and coffee shop. There are plenty of tables, and I got the impression they'd be perfectly fine with someone settling in for a while with a laptop if you're looking for a remote cowork spot with a bit of charm. We ordered a latte, and it was excellent. Generous foam piled high, with very hot coffee underneath that held its heat all the way through. The drink was well-balanced, not too bitter, and served with a quiet warmth that matched the atmosphere. Nana's Coffee may not be flashy, but it's clearly a place that values hospitality. Whether you're pausing mid-journey or looking for a low-key place to work, it's well worth the stop. The blend of ice cream, espresso, and relaxed seating makes it feel like a little pocket of comfort tucked into the day. [Review 1319 of 2025 - 4448 in North Carolina - 24871 overall]

So, seeing this place right across the street from the Marriott I was staying at was exciting. The ambiance is cozy yet spacious, with plenty of seating. I could totally see myself sitting down with a laptop to get some work done if I were a local. To the left, they have an ice cream parlor where you can get different scoops or milkshakes, while the right side is where they take orders. Behind the counter is where the magic happens with their coffee drinks. The young ladies working inside were very nice on both of my visits and super patient with me when I told them I had lost my voice. One girl on my first visit even pulled out a pad and pen so I could write my order down. Haha! On my first visit, I ordered a blueberry muffin iced latte, and on my second, I tried the chocolate-covered strawberry iced latte (both February specials). They were delightful--full of flavor but not overly sugary, so I could still taste the coffee. Honestly, I can't say I've ever seen or had either of these flavors at the many local coffee shops I've visited over the years. All in all, The Caffeinated Cow is a must-visit if you're in or near Cheraw. Tbh, your options for local coffee are pretty limited in this area, so it's a good thing this place serves up delicious drinks with great service. Lol.

We were visiting this area, and lamenting the lack of a coffee shop to fuel us for the drive back to Raleigh, when someone pointed use here. I honestly felt like it was going to be more adventure than enjoyment, and after figuring out which door to go in, my mind wasn't changed. It was pretty empty, but great seating and fun country-home decor. The gal running the place was passionate about her coffee. My companion got a drink off the menu, and I watched her grind and fuss over it to get it just right. When it came to my turn, I asked her to make me her favorite. I was not disappointed! The perfect shot of hazelnut flavor, and a smooth carmely bean and I was wishing I could be a better expert so that I could do this review justice!

I remember when this used to be the Sanitary Cafe and Harry ran the place. He had a small display case with some of his old military stuff in it from when he was in World War 2. I was happy to see the stainless steel wall cover still there behind the counter. I met a friend of mine for lunch on my way to Myrtle Beach. We've been friends since 3rd Grade ! I had the Country Ham Plate with Mac-n-Cheese , Mashed Potatoes and Gravy , Roll , and Sweet Tea. He had the Patty Melt with Fries. I love getting Country Ham when I come home to visit because we can't get it in Las Vegas. It was good , but I have to say the portion was a little smaller than I expected. The Mashed Potatoes and Gravy was good , but the Mac-n-Cheese I didn't really care for. Sweet Tea was on point. My friend liked his Patty Melt and fries. He knew our waitress and she was nice enough to take a picture of us. Bennettsville is still the small town community that I remember and grew up in. I would love to see it grow again like many places have even though all the jobs moved away years ago when the factories moved overseas. My father and I walked the streets of Bennettsville everyday after he got off work and we visited many of the shopkeepers after his first heart attack to give him some exercise. He grew up in Bennettsville and never moved as many of the people that he grew up with. Bennettsville was a tight knit community then and I know the ones that I grew up with still have this place in their heart even being thousands of miles away like me.
