There were no hidden or surprise fees. We felt like we were always in the loop and that we had control of the direction of the project. There was complete transparency with regard to suppliers, subcontractors, and any and all available options throughout the process. We love our custom built bay window bench seats with the shelving underneath and our new laundry/mud room. It took a while to get started because they book up in advance. Don't put off contacting them and risk not getting started as soon as you'd like.
