Fast but sometimes I think i get shorted it depends on who I get as a worker I try to get the taller guy he is honest it seems

I recently went to Brewer redemption center, when I first started going there it seemed as though they were more honest than most redemption centers. So the last time I went , about six months ago I brought my bottles in and it seemed like they gave me two little amount of money , but because I didn't count them I didn't complain. This time I brought my bottles in , but I counted them. I should've gotten $30.20, I only received $24.75. They were over five dollars off. They are trying to sell their business , I sure hope the next person who buys it is more honest than they are I lost over five dollars worth of bottles deposit that I paid for! read more

What a nice place! It's indoors so we pulled right up in the parking lot. The inside is very clean and artsy- the walls are decorated with flyers and paint. They have two stations but there was no wait. We simply emptied our bags on the tray and the very nice lady handled it for us. One thing I like about this place is that they count each individual can and pay out that way- some places go by weight. It was dog friendly- they have treats! And the workers were just the cheeriest people. I was super impressed by how clean it was. They even spray down the trays after each use and get rid of your trash for you. I cannot tell you how many dirty grungy centers I've been too. Brewer is the place to go! read more

Basic but efficient operation. They do their jobs well and with pride. They even have raised donations for the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute in Brewer, Maine. They have adequate parking. If their operation expanded to allow customers that are waiting to be served to enter that would be nice, but all in all excellent. read more

Used to be the best place...people working it now not as bright as the old ones. Definitely skimming. I counted my bottles and was shorted over $3.00. I will mark them from now on. What happened to this place? read more

No question...this is by far THE best redemption center I've ever been to. They are very nice and are actually glad you brought them your empties. The other centers I've been to are rude and act like you're putting them out...I travel 25 miles to bring my bottles back to them....and tip them well. read more

Customers beware! They close early for no reason! After being closed for 2 days incluring the holday, they closed early on Tuesday. Closed at 3pm even though their hours say 5pm for the day. Stood outside with 3 other customers watching staff ignore us and sweep up. Wouldnt even answer phone. Gone downhill since new owners. Dont close early if you have customers literaly waiting at the door, especially after being closed for days. Needed the money and so frustrated and disapointed. read more

I always get friendly service when I go here, and the place is clean. The owners are friendly and grateful for my business. I very, very highly recommend them! Even when I lived in Bangor, I drove to Brewer to return my bottles here. It was absolutely worth the trip just to be greeted by friendly people. A+ read more

Makes a dirty job worth while. Clean neat and polite, unlike that other place. Bring your bottles here, you won't be sorry!
