This is a nice Nando's, I did originally struggle to get a table being refused at first, I was lucky enough to be passing later on and noticed a few extra tables to dine in; with it being a Saturday in December, it was understandably very busy, considering this they did a very good job not to let standards slip in terms of service and food quality. the manager who served me was very friendly and the other employees were presentable. It was a little difficult getting to the toilets at the back due to how busy it was. I ordered a Medium Chicken Butterfly with Peri Chips, Creamy Mash and gravy, which came to £14. I do find Nando's a tad expensive for what it is, but with this delivering a good meal and being one of the few places nearby, I could get a table and be in and out quickly, it was worth the price on this occasion. The chicken was cooked well, the gravy went perfectly with the mash, which I always find to be lacking something. It is a shame the gravy is only seasonal. A pretty good Nando's location. 4*

I have been to many branches of this popular chain and I enjoy the food. I love the skinny fries and the panko fried chicken burger. This branch was on the High Street and very convenient to reach, We are dead tired after some serious shopping and got in as it was the first thing we saw as we were getting off the mall. The place was extremely busy, even at half 2 in afternoon. But the staff attended to us immediately and got us seated in the lower level. With the kids, the Sofa seats are always better. The seats were next tot he glass wall looking out to the high street and it was a bright sunny day. The kids got their activity stuff and were happy. I went and ordered the food - Burgers, skinny fries, milk shake - the standard stuff. The wife suddenly had a Goat's cheese salad craving and got one of those. Got the usual Peanuts and my favorite HArbernaro and Kiwifruit sauce (the replacement one, I still belive going for an inhouse sauce was a bad idea as Waha Wera were brilliant) and waited for the food. The food didn't take long, nothing to complain other than that the Salad was lacking dressing and for which the Staff got us some immediately. Sitting in the sun was turning out to be unpleasant and the staff moved us to another empty table in middle of the room which was helpful. The food is as usual GBK standard, nothing different from other GBK's and the staff were a friendly lot. In hind sight, we should have avoided sitting in the sun as it got exceptionally hot and uncomfortable, probably in the summer months I would advice you avoid this part of the restaurant, particularly if you have little ones. I will be definitely going back.

The place was pretty empty the night we came, and it looked pretty empty the night before as well, when we walked past after dining at another restaurant nearby. However, there is a lot of seating inside the restaurant, including what looked like an upstairs seating area, as well as some tables outside, so it's possible it gets busier on weekends. The menu had a pretty large selection of burgers, chicken dishes, hot dogs, and even steaks and salads. There was also an enticing page of desserts, including milkshakes, cheesecakes, and sundaes. The mains came with a choice of side (salad, fries, mashed potatoes) and dipping sauce (garlic mayo, barbecue sauce, among others). I got the classic burger on a brioche bun with fries and garlic mayo. The burger was topped with the Tinsel Town sauce, which was tasty. However, the brioche bun was too dry/hard for my liking. The fries were fine. One of my coworkers got the cheese dog, which was really massive. It had some tomato slices tucked in. She wound up not being able to finish it; apparently it was a bit stodgy and might have been more manageable if it had been a frankfurter or something. She also got the halloumi appetizer with sweet chili sauce, which she really enjoyed. I got a brownie sundae for dessert. It was topped with a massive amount of whipped cream, but I would have preferred for it to have had a bit more ice cream underneath. The brownie chunks were tasty, though. One of my coworkers got the Kinder Bueno milkshake and said it tasted exactly like a Kinder Bueno. Service was pretty slow, especially given there were so few customers at the time. It took the server awhile to split the check, since she couldn't seem to remember who got what and had to redo the split a few times. It probably would have been easier to just get 1 check and divide it ourselves. The restaurant card reader did not accept my American debit card (which I historically have not had issues using abroad, in places as diverse as Bangkok and Stockholm). Thankfully, there is an ATM nearby and the server was patient and apologetic about me needing to step out to get cash. Overall, a very average dinner, but good if you're craving a milkshake and some fries. My burger and dessert came out to be about £13.

We didn't have to wait in a queue or anything to pay, but the restaurant was fairly busy both times we went. The staff were friendly and polite. The first time I came here, I tried to pay with my American bank card (which has usually worked fine abroad), but they weren't able to accept it and I had to go to a nearby ATM. The staff were patient and apologetic about it, however. The restaurant is a lot bigger than it looks on the outside. The placemat has a map, which is pretty amusing but not super necessary to study. It's easy to just go around the stations. The farthest stations from the main seating area are the Italian, Mediterranean, and Brazilian stations; both times we went, the seating around that area was empty--probably they just try to seat everyone in the same area to make it easier to clean up. There were pizzas, paella, salads, and pastas in the Italian and Mediterranean area, and also a server who walked around with Brazilian meat on a stake. In addition, there was a variety of Asian stations, including sushi, Chinese food, dim sum, a Thai curries/soups/stir-fry, and Indian food. The starters section was mostly fried food like fries, mini samosas, and spring rolls. There was a huge selection of desserts, including mini mousses, ice cream, and an Eton mess, among others. There's a chocolate fountain, but I didn't find there was that much to dip in the chocolate. There was an okay selection of fruit, but nothing overly fresh or impressive. The drinks area included complimentary soda, water, fruit juice, and coffee. There's definitely a wide selection, and for less than £20 a head, it's a pretty good deal if you're hungry. None of the food is of particularly impressive quality, but it's all pretty tasty and it's a good choice if you're with a group of people with different tastes. Some of the dishes/plates didn't look completely clean, but that was fairly rare. The servers were usually quick about clearing the old plates off the table.
