Didn't take me to type of beer I requested. (No other customers.) When I got to the area, NO prices anywhere. Not on containers, shelf, or a list. Asked 2 customers who'd arrived, about prices. They ignored me. Had to ask clerk, who was not at all busy, to help carry my purchases to my car. TERRIBLE in so many ways, but the NO TOILET PAPER was the worst.

They always introduce themselves by name with a handshake followed by them asking if you need any help. When was the last time that happened to you? I haven't been to another brew supply store before so I can't compare it to anything else (which is why it's 4 stars instead of 5), but this is a nice place. At Nittany Beverage, they only sell full cases and kegs of beer, so if you're ready to stock up, or having a party, this is you spot. At Nittany, they actually have a decent selection. I was able to get my Brooklyn Brewery which was totally awesome. Downside is yes, they only sell full cases of beer. A good thing is that they'll load up your car with your beer, so you don't even have to get out of the car if you're that lazy. If only I drank enough beer to make it worthwhile.

Pletcher's is definitely a better place to shop for beer though, and the people that work there are way more helpful and way more passionate about beer. With that being said, give a big fat star to Nittany Beverage for their blowout cases. If you check in regularly you'll find some real gems for $10 - $20 per case.

Went another time to get a gift card. The guy working the register was unsure if they did gift cards and asked another coworker for help. Eventually got gift card and gave to my friend. My friend goes to use it and they state there is no balance. Would not honor it. After calling on the behalf of my friend they eventually honored it and gave them the balance that should have been on the card. My friend stated that years ago she had the same issue with a gift card she received from another friend but this was on paper. You guys need to get your act together.
