They do not make your pets health a priority and are completely unorganized. My pet was scheduled at one point to have a mast cell tumor removed. They never told me any information on how to prepare what to expect or even what time to be there!! I called multiple times in attempts to ask the doctor some questions about another mass I found that I also wanted removed. No call back. I finally asked the receptionist what I should expect for the surgery as no one has contacted me back or told me anything regarding it. She told me someone would call me the night before and go over everything. I asked what about the time to drop her off. She stated they'd also go over that the night before... I have work, I need to know the time ahead of time just like anyone else. I thought all this was strange and got a bad feeling about it but continued to go along with the process since we found out my dog had mast cell cancer. I called the doctor again to ask another question about other masses. Again, no call back. I decided that was enough and I wouldn't trust them to put my dog under for a surgery. I went to another hospital and am glad I did. I thought that was the last of my issues with clear lakes which is now called brewerton hospital for animals. Until today, I needed blood work we did prior while I was still at brewerton and needed them to send me the records. The receptionist told me they had no record of me being there ever and stated I had the wrong place. I told her the doctor I saw, the tests I did, their address and the dates I went. She insisted there was no record of my dog and didn't know what she wanted me to do and there was nothing she could do. I asked if they delete records ever and if it was possibly deleted, she stated absolutely not. I insisted I needed them and needed a specific test result in there and they were extremely important and she put me on hold for 15 minutes to come back and tell me she found them in the trash/ archive file. Let me remind you it has only been a few months since I switched vets. They deleted my dogs MEDICAL FILE. EXTREMELY ILLEGAL. Legally they have to wait years before they can even archive them! After she found my file she stated she couldn't find the blood work I was referring to. She told me she would just send me the entire file and I maybe could go thru it and find it myself. I had to do someone else's job. I'm just grateful I have them at all but again nothing but stress working with that hospital!! I also want to state I have never once wrote a review ever so for me to take this much time out of my life to write my first one and this long, you know it was just a horrible experience. I never recommend people to go here ever.

They did a great job communicating and letting me know what the test results were and what they meant. They also took the time to lay out all the pricing before they did anything, and they trimmed his claws for free, too! It turns out my cat was afraid of a curtain between the main part of the house and the basement, where his litterbox was. Big relief, but I'm glad I came here and made sure he was ok. Their pricing is quite reasonable, too. I appreciate that they exercise their rights as a private business to eject people who are being obnoxious and making other clients and staff feel uncomfortable. That one star review down there actually sold me on coming here, lol! People, vets and vet staff end up taking so much abuse. Please be kind to them and respect them, OK? Really. It's such a hard job. They really do want to help animals. They deserve to work in a safe environment, and don't deserve to be the target you take all your pain out on. Hey, clinic staff? I see you. Well now he has retired and a new company has taken over. On my first visit with the new company, i brought my Himalayan cat, Yoshi, in for a grooming, I've brought him in several times over the last two years for grooming and I've never had an issue. Well this time was different. I pick him up and pay for the service (he is in his crate) and I proceed home. As soon as I get him home I notice something wrong with his eyes and he is acting lame. I immediately call them and ask if he was given a sedative or anything for the grooming. I am told they didnt and he is just stressed and to give it 24 hours to go away. 24 hours later its still an issue so I bring him back in. The new vet there takes one look at him and says "Oh dear, he has a concussion"... I immediately ask him what could have caused this during a standard grooming and he tells me he isnt sure but that he will talk to the groomer and review security cameras. A week goes by before i get any call back only to be told that there are no cameras in the grooming room and the groomer said nothing happened. Well obviously something had happened, he has never had a concussion before this. They then proceed to monitor him (at no charge) and even pay another vet to look at him as he is recovering. I then talk to the office manager who tells me there is nothing they can do and the new vet, Dr. Honeyset, has the nerve to look at me in the face and say "well you have no proof we did anything wrong here." Obviously I will never be taking any animal back to this place for any reason but I strongly encourage anyone who still uses their services to keep an eye on your pet. At the moment I cant remember the groomers name but the fact that she hasnt been removed after allowing an animal under her care to have trauma to the brain, for whatever reason, is completely unacceptable. On top of all that for a vet to look at me in the face and say, well we dont have cameras set up so you have no proof, is disgusting. With service like this, I cant imagine they will have the same success Dr. Davis had when he ran the business. The picture I posted is of Yoshi when I got him home and noticed the issue.
