OUTSTANDING food! Friendly staff, fun place in the weekends. Every weekend is different. It all depends on what time of year it is aswell. The karaoke is a great time to go. We usually enjoy Brewgards but with the new owners we hadn't been in a long time. We went on Monday night with four other friends. It was really Terrible. They were out of almost everything we tried to order off the menu. The Ruebon nope they were out, they were out of nachos they were out of BREAD! We ordered the brew "Philly" after an hour waiting they came out and told us they were out of it only had enough for three So we ordered a burger and three Phillys Well it finally came and the three were screwed up with the wrong sides. And the sandwiches were terrible. One was served with only mushroom and onions and very sparse. Mine had what looked like a tablespoon of nothing but scrum from the pan. The other Philly did have about a tablespoon of meat and cheese. We also ordered drinks to have them come back and even though we ordered off their menu for spirits they were out. The bartender had no idea how to make an old fashioned or a tom Collins. We resorted to drinking bottled beer. The waiter dropped our food and never came back. We were nice because stuff happens. But after thinking about how we're were treated and the service , quality of food and attentiveness. This was totally all inclusive terrible from the food to the service to the selection. It was expensive and we did tip but shouldn't have. They need to get their stock figured out because we went to test drive it for a company Christmas party that will be a no way! read more

What a place, let me tell you about Merry Beth. Sweet Merry Beth gave us the best recommendations of all time. We devoured the Tuff Clucker with some Cajun fries. I'm not gay but let me tell you that food busted in my mouth made me feel tingles down my throat. To top it off sweet Marry Beth even gave us an Oreo cheesecake. Gawd damn that shit was good. I was in town for business, looking for a sports bar for dinner to watch playoff hockey. Brewgards has numerous TVs, apparently all the sports subscriptions and great food! Not to mention local beer; I can recommend the amber ale, it was smooth and had a lot of flavor. Had the flatiron steak salad - noted as a "favorite" on the menu - for good reason. We were visiting from Pennsylvania and went to watch the Eagles play. On our monthlong trip out west this was some of the best food we had, and also was reasonably priced. Went for lunch on a Saturday. Ordered a BLT with fries. Food was excellent. The sandwich was loaded with crispy bacon (just how I ordered it), along with lots of tomatoes and lettuce..it was really, really good. Fries hot and crispy. Our server was very attentive and friendly. read more

Tried Brewgard's for lunch on the recommendation of a local. My wife opted for the BLT with onion rings. Bacon was crispy and the onion rings portion was huge! I ordered what I thought was a Reuben sandwich but was actually a burger with sauerkraut, pastrami and thousand island dressing. I didn't read the description close enough or I would never had ordered this combination burger. I am glad for my error, this combination tasted GREAT! Service was a little on the slow side and when we were ready to leave we had to get our own to go box and I had to go to the bar to request my check. These small inconveniences may be due to the lack of help. We'd definitely patronize this restaurant again. read more

One of my all time favorite rituals when I come home to visit friends and family in Cody is come to brewguards and get my favorite Bloody Mary's. Soo I've recently made the 4 hour drive, and had just gotten into town and stopped in to have one. We weren't greeted, so we asked if they were still open then a woman with blonde hair barked "not for long" at us. So we sat down, ordered them. Normally two bloody Mary's comes out to be around $12 and was shocked that it was $19. Which would have been worth it if they had tasted like they usually do, however I was very disappointed. So I went back the next day and received one of the best bloody Mary's and very accommodating service at the price I was used to. Glad I gave it another shot! read more

Not enough help to take care of the customers. Slow slow service. Had to ask a waitress to come take our order and then our food didn't come. Got the waitress to go check on our order. Others had gotten their order. We were told the grill quit working. After sitting there over an hour we left and went to eat somewhere else. This place has a ton of potential. It's a very nice place, very clean, very appealing. Everything about my experience here tonight was less than desirable. I had heard from several people that this place has the best wings in town. If so, Cody Wyoming doesn't know wings. They were far from being good wings at all. It's almost as if they were naked wings dumped into a fryer and a cup of hot sauce for you to dip them in. Then there's the service. If that's what you want to call it. Very disappointed. We went into Brewgards for a simple hamburger. It was my husband, my son, his girlfriend and myself. We didn't want to drink, just eat. When we went in, they asked for my sons and his girlfriends id. We told them that the girlfriend is 21 but our son is 20. We know the Wyoming laws regarding underage drinking in bars, but this is also a restaurant. The restaurant has a division from the bar. The bar is in a separate area. They said that we had to leave! In Wyoming, if you are under 21 but with your parents, you are allowed to be in the restaurant/bar. We were given our water, and then the Manager of the establishment decided to kick us out. Unfortunate for them, we will never be back. The one time that we did eat there before in the summer, there were kids and teenagers in the restaurant area. We then left, and went to another establishment where we spent over $100 and we were not treated like we were not wanted. Too bad. read more
