We didn't have a reservation and sat at the bar. Great cocktails and friendly bartender. Flank steak was great and had the leftovers for breakfast! My husband ordered the salmon and really enjoyed that too. Top of our list in Cody!

Came here for dinner the first night and its a street over from the main street in downtown Cody. Similar to a few other reviews, we didn't have reservations for a 5:30 seating and nor were we greeted. It took a bit of time to be acknowledged and seated, but once that did take place, it was smooth from there. Ordered the special which was a flank steak with crispy polenta and arugula salad. The steak was amazing - seasoned well, perfectly medium and tender. The crispy polenta was delicious, keep that on the menu please. The arugula was a little rough and wilted. We also ordered the lamb gnocchi and everything on the plate worked - the pesto sauce, generous tender lamb meatballs, the dark cherry sauce, etc. A great place with good food!

We came in for a late breakfast and I ordered the breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich comes with Fontina scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, tomato & garlic aioli on a focaccia. The breakfast sandwich was the right size for me- I wasn't super hungry. The crispy potatoes on the side reminded me of chopped up French fries & they were delicious. It wasn't busy when we went in and service was friendly & attentive.

Stopped by for an early dinner, 4pm on a Tuesday. Was told it was still "happy hour" and here that means a LIMITED MENU. 6" pizzas and a few appetizers. Disappointed the menu was not available I still stayed and ordered a 6" mushroom pizza. Pizza was good! Also had tiramisu for dessert and it was light on the coffee flavor but the portion size was huge. Would like to try the full menu another day.

This place is totally amazing especially considering where it's located. Not much around so I was shocked to find something vegetarian-friendly and elevated. Really delicious plates of food and our server was super nice! Would definitely go back. Thank you!

I don't usually eat at restaurants that have less than 4 stars but when I looked at their unique menu we decided to give it a try. EVERYTHING we had last evening was delicious but their salads are top notch. I had the house salad and my husband got the Caesar and said it's the best he's ever had. I also had the crab cakes (yummy) and he had the smoked wings with an espresso bbq sauce which was off the chart delicious. We went back for lunch today and got the wood fired pizza with mushrooms, prosciutto and quality cheese that brought the whole thing together. So glad we didn't let the ratings scare us away. Although we did not try every restaurant in Cody, I can't imagine they're being a better one than trailhead.

This is a tough one for me, wish I could give it More stars. This is obviously the nicest restaurant in town and it was a Sunday, we are not locals just passing thru. We arrived at 4:30 and the place was empty. Asked if they had room for four and the hostess said she had to check. I added we would be quick as we had a lot more driving to do. She seemed super agitated and honestly just wish she had said, "Sorry we are full." Finally she said she could make room and had to move some things around. So she added two seats to the two top by the door. We are big people, 6.2, 6.4 and 6.6, 5.8 - so I asked if we could sit at any of the open tables in the rest of the restaurant that had more room. She said they were all reserved. So I sat with my shoulder on the emergency fire alarm and we all crammed around the table by the door. Food was wonderful. Super $$$ but worth it. Our waitress was great until our food was served then she went MIA. So all of this to say if you aren't a local you will probably be treated as such, but the food fantastic and worth a bit of abuse whomever is cooking is doing a great job. But no small town love or warmth from the staff which is odd given all our other experiences in Montana and Wyoming. If we had felt welcomed this would be a 5 star review! And not that it matters but we did spend over $250 so it's not like we took up space for some ice water and a pizza! When we left we said thank you and the gal didn't even look up.

Good food - nice vibe and decent service. Decent selection of beers. Cody has a few good options for eating for a small little town.

I think this is a family-run establishment. I ordered my meal to go, and they gave me my drink and invited me to sit down and wait. I had checked out the menu beforehand, and I selected the Garbage Burger with fries. My food was ready quickly and delivered with a smile and friendly chat. This was a delicious burger! A thick beef patty was covered with onions, mushrooms, bacon, and melted American cheese. It also come with lettuce, tomato and thousand island dressing. The patty was huge and nicely seasoned with salt and pepper. The onions, mushrooms, bacon and cheese all melded deliciously together. The bun was sturdy and had been nicely toasted. The thousand island dressing added another layer of richness to this burger. Wow! A messy, but awesome burger! The fries were good, a nice side and had some good seasoning in the breading. They likely don't wash the baking pans after making cinnamon pizza or rolls. Now, everything else on the menus will be awful along with the service. 1 beer took 35min to receive. Thankfully taken off the bill in a way that seemed very common to the server. The arcade is 10% functional. 1 $.25 cent token successfully working and 3 being eaten. But if you like long waits bad food and people watching you're in for a treat! And oh what a show is on display! It was fun seeing everyone look around wondering where their food was after an hour of waiting, some forgot what they ordered or if they had at all. This establishment is literally the Bermuda triangle of Wyoming run solely by underage children, literally. Good luck and happy adventures searching for grand experiences in failed service! Definitely dine here only for the in person comedy of observing human failures on every level in real time! I wish I could give less than 1 star to help bring the overall average rating down to a more realistic level- say 1 star total average. Do not go here for food or drinks or games. We finally had to flag someone down to take our order. By that point, our son was starving, so we decided to order just one meal to see if the service would improve. He ordered the "Lobstah Roll" with a side of butter. What arrived was more like a cold seafood salad on a roll, along with a side of cold butter. Had he known that's what it was, he definitely wouldn't have ordered it. We weren't expecting an authentic Maine lobster roll, but if you're going to spell it "Lobstah," there are certain expectations--and this wasn't close. At some point, our original server seemed to realize she had forgotten about us, but the service never recovered. No one checked on us, offered refills, or asked if we wanted anything else. When we were ready to leave, we literally had to hold our credit card up to get someone's attention so we could pay and get out of there. Ironically, the moment we left, two employees immediately appeared to clear the table. The funny thing is that we saw other tables receiving great service throughout our visit. Maybe we were just unlucky, but based on our experience, I'd avoid sitting where we sat. Good luck to the next guests assigned that table.
