Amazing service, bunch of different types of beers. The person who runs it is super sweet!

I was heading out of town to see a Texas native and his wife lovely asked if I'd get him some Shiner Redbird. I called 4 other places before I found his place. Tim was super awesome. He took the time to check the shelves and the back fridge! He also made some recommendations of a new Shiner IPA! They close at 700, but he said he'd hold it aside for me if I was a few minutes late. Even though the address was wrong in Yelp, Apple maps had the correct one and I was only 2-3 minutes late. Awesome experience and amazing guy with Tim. This is the place to buy beer! read more

MS is trying it's best to get into the craft scene so was delighted to find a place to grab some local homebrew supplies. It seems like more of a beer store for someone wanting to try different craft beers but glad there's an opportunity for the locals to go to try a variety. The store was laid out well with the different styles of beer separated and even some coolers with single beers with mix and match. I'd recommend checking the dates since there seems to be a lot of inventory and not sure how fast it's moving here. The service was friendly and the gentleman was a homebrewer too so had some knowledge on brewing supplies. Location was good and plenty of parking in the complex. read more

I am so pumped about this store! Now, I haven't actually been inside it just yet, but I did spend the better part of a Sunday afternoon (while they were closed) peering into this store, my hot breath bringing condensation on the glass of the storefront from the outside. It is a beer-lovers' paradise! They look to have all the flavors of the world in a bottle or can within the confines of this store. They have beer on the shelves and they also have coolers in the back. I will be hitting this store during open hours very soon! They are located perfectly in between Another Broken Egg Cafe and Superior Steakhouse off of Line Avenue and Pierremont Road. They are open 10am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am to 5pm on Saturdays. I will be a blastronaut in this Brewniverse! read more

Fantastic beer shop in Shreveport. Mostly all the cans and bottles can be purchased in singles with each about $2-4 depending on rareness and alcohol content. They had everything from Lagunita to Clown Shoes and Mikkeler. Brewniverse is outstanding and must stop for any beer lover in the area. As good as it gets for small town beer stores. read more

Good beer selection, found brews I cannot find in Tennessee, was disappointed in their home brewing selection. Perhaps I visited between deliveries, but I was expecting more than had handful of Brewers Best kits and assorted totes of grains/equipment. I give an 'E' for effort. read more

Brewniverse is one of the few places that makes the Shreveport/Bossier area not so bad. I was worried about the availability of craft beer in this area when I found out I was getting stationed here. Needless to say they have a decent selection of craft beer and definitely the go to bottle shop. With the addition of now being able to get growler fills and the slow trickle of other breweries beers showing up, it's worth visit. They also are very helpful with home brewing and getting you what you need. read more

This store was awesome to visit! Nice and cozy and the woman who was helping me was extremely knowledgable about beer. I loved that they had all of the Louisiana beer congregated together so that it's easy to find the local stuff. I am currently on a quest to find beer from all 50 states and since Abita distributes to Upstate NY, I already had my LA beer, HOWEVER was looking for the last few straggler states. She was so helpful in looking up to see if they carried any beer from those states and luckily they had an Arkansas beer which is what I needed. I also went home to my hotel with a local LA beer. This was a great store to visit and loved that she was willing to break a six pack if I wanted anything from the Louisiana beers that weren't singles. Really awesome services, was so helpful, and was just as excited as I was that I found an Arkansas beer. Highly recommend this place for beers that can be tough to find. read more
