Cool place! Great selection and staff was very nice. Does not have food but does have plenty of beer.

Great brewery located in Shreveport. If you are a fan of IPA's...this place is a MUST stop. I'm from Dallas, but this is my go to brewery when I'm in town to hit the casinos.

Highly recommend for your night out! The beer is hands down the best brewed beer in the Bossier-Shreveport area. My favorite is their coffee stout, my husband loved their Juiceport DIPA. The venue itself has an amazing atmosphere and is impeccably clean which I love! Especially the bathrooms they have a huge outdoor area which I feel in the future could host some amazing events and they have local food trucks come in as well. This is also going to be an amazing place to listen to live local music which they actively post on their social media. I will definitely be a returning customer

I noticed a new to me venue in Shreveport recently. Figured I would stop in, see what it was about and to my surprise really enjoyed the ambiance, family feel and great brews. The vibe is fun, light, come as you with modern hints of a micro brewery. Great place for a new date or 1:1 relaxed environment this is the place!

    Excellent service with southern hospitality!

Absolutely love the atmosphere and diverse beer varieties at The Seventh Tap! Being from the Austin, Texas area where we have tried numerous different breweries, this place is a definite top contender and a must visit brewery if ever near Shreveport. True southern hospitality and excellent tasting beers too!

Nice casual spot. Pet-friendly. Large fenced-in outdoor area with tables. Bartenders are awesome. Beer is actually pretty damn good.

I attended with a local friend and he confirmed this is authentic. The experience: Friendly staff, a long restaurant with a bar section, followed by the condiments section, followed by a whole other bar somehow? I didn't poke my head back there but I found that intriguing. More on the condiments: They come with any sandwich. I probably took unfair advantage by taking enough lettuce, tomatoes, and onions to make an entire salad. I then asked for dressing, which they happily provided at no charge. And sandwiches? Do get. Delicious bread. The default bread appears to be the French - you could opt for their sourdough if you like - and it's not toasted. I love soft bread, and the po' boy was divine as a result. I loved the boudin. I loved that they have alligator sausage in multiple places on the menu. I loved everything about this place except the fact that summer means just about all of the beers were light, and I had to hunt and peck to find beers more my style. Which I did. And maybe those beers are lingering as I type this review. But BeauxJax gave me the warm, fuzzy, welcoming feeling I love in a restaurant. A great stop in Bossier. Worth a detour from Shreveport. Legitimate Cajun.

But table seating was available. After taking a couple minutes to decide. I chose the shrimp poboy. It was delivered at 12:05, with the tails on. Before I could eat, I had to pull them off. It was fantastic. So I guess I'll be okay. By 12:20 I was cashing out lunch for one $20. They issued a 20% discount for my military id.

So, we ended up here--the only place open that wasn't serving up blackjack with a side of fries. First up: water. Now, if you've never had Louisiana tap water, let me tell you--it tastes like someone steeped a bag of potting soil in it for 12 hours. I was about to blame this restaurant until a little Google dive informed me that most of Louisiana water just tastes like this due to geosmin and MIB (algae bloom byproducts, apparently). Fun fact that nobody asked for, but here we are. Anyway, we pivoted HARD to cocktails. I ordered a Belvedere martini, which was well-made by Dustin but oddly expensive considering this wasn't exactly a swanky downtown hotspot. For dinner: Hubbs went for shrimp fettuccine, and while it was fine, it didn't exactly make us want to write home about it. I, on the other hand, ordered Natchitoches meat pies, thinking they'd be the real deal imported from the famous place there. Oh, how naive I was. Instead, they were sad little impostors, baked instead of fried, and just...meh. Final bill: almost $100 for four drinks and two average entrées. If we're dropping that kinda cash, I'd prefer a meal that didn't require an emergency cocktail switch just to recover from the water.

The menu has changed in the last year (apologies for lack of photos), so I recommend checking the website's menu for the most current offerings. The potato beignets were a hit appetizer- although truly the oddest beignets I've ever seen- I would order again without hesitation. The kabocha squash hummus and Brussels sprouts were also immediate hits. My duck confit was exceptional and the banana creme pie was enough for 4 people to enjoy a few bites. The menu strikes a nice balance of varied southern/french tastes but focused for quality and thoughtfully curated. Although I noted that we were celebrating a graduation when making the reservation, it was never acknowledged. That said, the service was warm and attentive overall, with the only drawback being infrequent water refills. The volume in the dining room fluctuated and became a bit louder toward the end of our meal. Overall, this restaurant manages to feel both intimate and refined. The purple sweet potato bread was easily the highlight of the meal. Give me two more orders and call it a night. I had the salmon with wilted spinach, heirloom peas, leeks, and gribiche. The salmon was cooked perfectly with crispy skin, while the peas brought an earthy, slightly nutty flavor with a creamy texture that paired beautifully with the leeks and tomatoes. If I'm ever back in town, this will be the first restaurant I visit.
