Where do I begin... wow! I had Brian do my makeup for an event and he asked me all kinds of questions before he started... what was I going for, what was I wearing etc. I don't typically wear a lot of makeup, so when he started, I may have panicked a little with everything that was going on my face. Truth be told? Brian's work is the epitome of phenomenal. Aside from dept. store/Sephora-y sorts of make up experiences in life, I'd never had my makeup done professionally prior to 2011... Brian was a fantastic makeup artist. He was very flexible for my trial (I was an out-of-town bride, but he accommodated a day-before trial) and wedding, in fact coming down to San Diego from LA where he lives for the weekend just for my makeup! His quality of work was fantastic. I loved it, and I got a lot of compliments. I was worried because I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, but he was very responsive to my concerns and listened to my needs. He also did two of my bridesmaids' eye makeup for discounted price (since it wasn't a full face) day-of with no prior warning. He is also super friendly and personable and chats the whole time while you're getting ready. He was also one of the few makeup artists who would still come to my getting ready location with just me getting ready. I didn't have enough people to book some of the others. Brian is not also super responsive to emails, but don't be put off. He will eventually get back to you, and he's just a busy guy. He's totally worth waiting!
