I am not a huge makeup enthusiast so I was looking for an expert who was versatile, could do natural glam, a soft and romantic look, and most importantly had good vibes. Brittany exceeded my expectations. She was responsive, kind, calming, affordable, and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. I did the trial run (no regrets) and Brittany came to my home. We went over makeup options, different hair options, and veil placement options. She asked lots of questions to make sure I was comfortable with everything, her skincare prep was fabulous and my makeup looked great! She spent the time to go over each step and customized my look based on my feedback. She's a true natural and was able to take my confusing feedback and turn it into exactly what I was envisioning. On the wedding day, Brittany was such a calm and happy presence in the room. My whole family loved her. We changed a few things we had gone over at the trial, and she remembered everything! Even things I had forgotten mentioning. That meant a lot to me. Brittany truly cares about her clients and it's clear she takes her job seriously. Most people in the wedding industry just treat you like another number but Brittany was the only person in the whole process who treated me like me. Brittany also did my 13 year old's hair and makeup for the wedding. I was worried about her looking too mature but Brittany did her makeup so perfectly, it just highlighted her features in such a soft, natural way... I was honestly speechless. I'm an anxious worrier but I never had to give a second thought to my hair/makeup/veil. Brittany added body glow and left behind a little touch up kit that had everything I needed. She even helped my mom with her makeup and lashes and squeezed in a friend who needed last minute hair and makeup services. My hair and makeup lasted all night, looked fabulous, and I felt like a star. I would hire Brittany again in a heartbeat to do anything makeup or hair related. I had tons of questions which she answered with the utmost patience. Booking was confirmed via email with confirmation of date, time and location. Experience: It was my first time getting my makeup done professionally so didn't know what to expect...but Brittany made the whole experience fun and effortlessly. I had sent her a link to a Pinterest board of some makeup inspiration looks before our appointment and she pulled it up before we started to ask me what I liked about each photo specifically. This meant a lot to me that she took the time out to look through what I sent her and cared enough to ask me what I liked about them. It really assured me that I was in good hands. The entire session took roughly an hour or so and mainly consisted of us talking while she worked her magic. She stopped a few times to ask me questions about how I normally apply makeup (i.e. eyeliner on waterline, blush etc). I appreciated this small gesture as well because it showed that she wanted to make sure the final look reflected me rather than make me into someone I'm not (hopefully that makes some sense haha). I found Brittany on yelp and booked her for a last minute maternity photo shoot. She came to my house which was super convenient since I had a hair appointment earlier that day across town. She was extremely punctual and a great conversationalist. We had an easy conversation about real estate, dogs and makeup! I really enjoyed the final result! It was "natural" with no heavy or theatrical contouring and she had a great technique with the eyeliner application so that my eyes didn't flutter or water. My eye makeup was stunning! I did a makeup trial for my elopement in January with Brittany today. She is awesome!! First of all, she is super friendly and a great communicator. She arrived at my apartment in time, which is not brightly lit, so we decided to do my makeup outside. I was surprised when she told me that she had a makeup chair in her car! How cool is that? Brittany's makeup style ENHANCES your natural features, which is what I wanted. I'm not a big fan of the Instagram eyebrows and heavily "contoured" look, which is why I chose her. She is a PRO at making you look beautiful without making you look too "made up." I also informed her that i am a "cryer," and there's a good chance that I might cry at my wedding. She gave me some amazing tips! Also, she wore a mask and gloves the entire time, which I'm sure was uncomfortable, but she is definitely taking precautions to keep her clients safe.
