The lease should have been signed on Tues. but the listing agent didn't call me until Wed. to say that she was signing and sending it to him shortly. On Thurs. at 4 p.m. he calls me and says someone else came in with an application Thurs. at noon and the landlord decided to go with them. What ever happened to "Time is of the Essence". I had to be out of my home by June 1st and I had already booked the movers. This was a horrible experience and unethical by common real estate standards.
