However, after visiting Sam at El Melody for a few lessons, I can already see why everyone has rated him perfectly. The ratings are not a joke, he is really that good. I have taken voice lessons from others over the years, but nothing has even come close to his method of teaching. His formal training is very apparent and I have already noticed a dramatic improvement in my own speaking and singing abilities. If you are serious about improving your voice for speaking and/or singing, open to constructive criticism and practicing the lessons you are taught on which parts of your body to use, I think almost anyone could have great or at least noticable results by taking lessons from Sam. They have two locations: Annandale and McLean. We've been to both. The Annandale location is closer to us to drive to from Loudoun County, although I prefer the McLean location...because there are more things to do while waiting.
