If you're needing to get back on your feet in regards to insurance, these folks have you covered. I…read morebroke my back a few years back and wound up going without insurance for over six months (I wasn't driving so I took coverage off my vehicle for about a year). When I got back to driving, MAN did I get a rude awakening. Every place I called was quoting me around 400 a MONTH for PLPD (mind you, I have a clean driving record. This was solely from being considered "high risk" for my lapse in insurance) Ted Kieslings office got me insured for about 150.00 a month and it has since gone down to 120.00. The office staff is PHENOMENAL and are very in touch with their clients. They also are very adept at explaining complex insurance issues; when the new liability coverage came out in July, they helped dissect what that meant for me personally (I did NOT have decent healthcare at the time and they informed me that reducing my liability coverage for short term savings [like ten bucks a month] could really come back to bite me in the butt if I were to injure myself or someone else further down the road). Overall, wonderful service. Not sure if the staff has changed or if there was more to the story for the older review, but honestly I recommend my insurance agent to everyone I know and I've never heard anything negative this far.

Wish I could give LESS than one star... this office is the worst. Should have been tipped off by…read morethe totally unprofessional appearance of the office (a basement room in a dilapidated building, with dollar bills inexplicably thumbtacked to the ceiling) but decided to give them the benefit of a doubt. I could ignore the high rates and bad coverage (that was my bad for not shopping around I guess) but they lost me as a customer when, after I totaled my car in a pileup, they not only failed to file a mini tort claim on my behalf but LIED to me about it (told me they had put it in, and that they would "call me if there were any issues!"). It was a pretty rude awakening when I had to call the other insurance company myself, AND no claim had been filed... annoying AND embarrassing (AND a lot of money at stake). Bottom line: insurance is expensive and you spend a lot of money for it. THESE PEOPLE WORK FOR YOU, so they should WORK for YOU. This is not the experience you will get with Ted Kiesling... I would definitely go online. to one of the online brokers where you will not have to deal with any 'human error' or just lazy unprofessional folks not doing their job. Save your money and time!

AVOID AAA INSURANCE. MY EXPERIENCE WITH AAA AUTO INSURANCE…read moreAFTER 20+ YEARS OF BEING INSURED BY THEM. I had never made a claim with AAA yet recently after leaving my car lights on the car would not start. Since I Pay AAA Insurance for Road Side Assistance, I contacted them. Road Side assistance did show up with a van full of batteries to sell. I explained that my car only needed a jump start. The tech proceeded to tell me all the reasons why I should replace my battery. After much to do he brought out his battery booster kit for jump starting cars. It did not start the car and he said it was because my battery had been drained of too much power. Because I was not going to purchase a new battery, HE LEFT. Yes AAA rode side service left me stranded. I called a friend and without a problem we jump started my car. Four months later that same battery continues to start my car every day. Afterwards trying to deal with AAA regarding this situation was always the same "I'm sorry this should not of happened. Please call back and ask for xxxx department for assistance." After hours on the phone with AAA I was told that the tech followed company procedures. AAA was ok that I was left stranded since I didn't want to buy a unnecessary new battery from them. Imagine how AAA would handle a claim if my home had a fire or my car was in an accident. I don't need to find out, I already know how AAA handles claims. There are plenty of other companies that sell reputable insurance.

The prices are the ONLY reason I decided to switch to AAA. Based on the customer service I…read morereceieved I wouldn't even give them a full star. When I first saught information I was helped, but I felt as though I was a bother to the representative. When I called back after thinking about it, & deciding I wanted to pursue with the coverage. I called, asked for the person who I had been working with & was told he was unavailable. But when I told the woman who had anwsered the phone I was ready to begin coverage, he then became available quickly to accept my money. After paying & receiving a copy of the proof of insurance via email, I replied with a thank you & a simple question about my member number for the membership I just purchased & got the response in all caps "I'LL SEND YOU A CARD ... " I found that to be completely rude.

Summary: I like State Farm. I dislike this one…read more I have been a loyal State Farm customer for years, but I switched because of my experiences with this office. Last winter, I got into an accident and called my agent the same day to make sure everything would get taken care of. The woman I spoke with told me that I needed to call the sheriff to get the insurance info of the woman who hit me (I didn't get it on the spot because the sheriff said he took care of it) and then call her insurance company to get my $500 deductible. She didn't even ask me if I was all right. She also rapid-fire listed off the places I could get my car repaired, so I asked her if I could receive the list via email or fax so that I could look into them and choose one. She said, "I _guess_ I could send it to you..." I told her not to bother. Later in the week, I received a call from their corporate office, and the woman I spoke to sounded shocked that I was asked to call the sheriff myself and said that they would take care of it. After that, we were all set. Then I noticed that my rate had gone up by $250/year. I called and spoke directly with Rich who told me it was a company-wide thing. I shopped around a little and discovered that I could save $360 by switching. Between the price hike and the bad experience, it was a no brainer. On the bright side, they made it VERY easy to switch.
