In the days after our wedding, our guests were raving about our DJ. A handful of our friends are DJs themselves. From our first correspondence, he was so professional and accommodating. We knew we could trust him with all the intricate details of our wedding day. He spent a lot of time with us so he could understand our vision and expectations for the day which was no small task! Our wedding day brought together a midwestern, Black American family and an Italian American family from New Jersey. Love disco and pop music, My husband loves hip hop. The majority of our guests are millennials but our oldest guests were in their 80's and the youngest was 6 months old. Everyone heard a song they knew and loved and everyone was dancing. Additionally, our timeline got off the rails (as they tend to do at weddings) and Kenny handled it all perfectly. Even as the bride and groom, we didn't fully know what issues occurred until after the wedding day. I could honestly rave about this duo for days but I'll wrap by saying Kenny knows music and has a lot of technical skills (transitions were cleannnnn, he had amazing energy on the mic, sound was fantastic all day!) but his real gift is his ability to connect with his couples and at the end of the day, that is what has meant the most to us!

Partial Resolution, but Serious Issues Impacted Our Wedding Day…read more We hired Bravo Sound for our wedding on 09/27/25, and unfortunately, the DJ's performance caused significant disruptions during key moments of our ceremony and reception. Specifically: -The DJ (Rob) arrived 2 hours late, delaying the ceremony and reception timeline. -Only 2 out of 3 processional songs we submitted in advance were played. The first song awkwardly looped, and my father walked down the aisle in silence, many guests unaware he walked down at all. -The microphone volume was inadequate and guests could not hear the officiant during the ceremony, even after the officiant asked for the volume to be increased. -Due to the delay, our ceremony ended in darkness, including the vows and our first kiss. -The DJ did not play the correct timestamp for the father/daughter dance. -Unapproved background music was played. -The cake-cutting song was triggered prematurely. After raising these concerns with the vendor, they offered a partial refund of $500. While I appreciate this effort to address the problems, the issues significantly impacted what was meant to be one of the most important days of our lives. I hope this review helps other couples make an informed decision. If you do choose this vendor, be sure to confirm ALL details well in advance and stay vigilant on the day of your event.

The DJ that called me back and spoke to me about my event and seemed to understand what I was looking for was not DJ sent. This company charges security deposit to hold your date which they keep and then they sub out job to anyone that can take it. The guy they sent me had very little experience. Go with a recommendation from a friend. SO MANY GOOD DJS at good prices, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had to burden my guests with constantly requesting songs because everything the DJ played was awful. He is lucky we were drinking and had other stuff going on otherwise I would have told him to stop playing and put on my speakers with a playlist.
