Partial Resolution, but Serious Issues Impacted Our Wedding Day We hired Bravo Sound for our wedding on 09/27/25, and unfortunately, the DJ's performance caused significant disruptions during key moments of our ceremony and reception. Specifically: -The DJ (Rob) arrived 2 hours late, delaying the ceremony and reception timeline. -Only 2 out of 3 processional songs we submitted in advance were played. The first song awkwardly looped, and my father walked down the aisle in silence, many guests unaware he walked down at all. -The microphone volume was inadequate and guests could not hear the officiant during the ceremony, even after the officiant asked for the volume to be increased. -Due to the delay, our ceremony ended in darkness, including the vows and our first kiss. -The DJ did not play the correct timestamp for the father/daughter dance. -Unapproved background music was played. -The cake-cutting song was triggered prematurely. After raising these concerns with the vendor, they offered a partial refund of $500. While I appreciate this effort to address the problems, the issues significantly impacted what was meant to be one of the most important days of our lives. First and foremost I would like to say that this is a brother owned company that are extremely rude and unprofessional towards their staff and other vendors at events. If I can give no star I would, it does not deserve a star at all. I would like to add that Alex is a very rude and unprofessional person. He was screaming and cursing at other people including another vendor and his own staff at my event. Alex was also threatening to fire them. He was there over an hour setting up and five minutes prior to my event starting, he was STILL NOT ready. He told the maître d' to not let the people in because he was still not set up. My guest had to stand outside the door in the cold because Alex the DJ was not prepared as he should. Don't let them fool you, they have TVs and all they did was have a black screen with the person's name and birthday and that was it. Total waste of money for the TVs. They also have a rookie photographer as part of a package deal. DO NOT hire them and look elsewhere for people that are more professional and have etiquette when it comes to your guests and other vendors. read more

LOVE Bravo Sound!!! Don was our MC, Rob was our DJ, and in addition we hired a violinist for the ceremony, a percussionist to play alongside the DJ for the reception, and got our photo booth through them as well. I cannot say enough great things about Bravo Sound, and every one of their talented musicians/DJs who worked our wedding!! Our guests are STILL raving!!!! Communication and meetings with them were set up quickly and were very pleasant. Our initial meeting was with Alex, and he was great, talked us through everything, and helped us book what we wanted. We emailed often with Kathleen, who works at Bravo Sound and is SUPER efficient and awesome! Our final details meeting was with Mike, the owner, and he is not only super funny, but put us at ease! Everything went SO smoothly the day of! The electric violinist we had, Alex, for the ceremony used to play at Lincoln Center, and it SHOWED - he was outstanding, and it made the ceremony perfect. He even stayed a bit after and played for us during some pictures. Mike made the recommendation to switch to an electric violinist over a classical one, and it was the best advice ever! Don, our MC, was the best. We loved him so much - he was fun, funny, got everyone dancing, made all the announcements we asked for, and just was incredible! Rob absolutely killed it - people were dancing the ENTIRE night! Not a single lull or complaint. The percussionist is out of this world amazing - it was a Puerto Rican/Italian wedding, and he had us MOVING! He even let our Tios and us play the drums at one point! A beyond talented and sweet man! The photo booth was a hit, and the two attendants were so sweet; at the end of the night we asked them for a few more pictures and they let us, even though they were about to close up. I really can't say enough about the Bravo Sounds team. I had very high expectations because we all know music and food are the most important parts of a wedding and let me tell you they delivered. My wedding was a little over a year ago and they did such an amazing job. We worked closely with Alex who helped us balance 2 different cultures (Greek and Spanish) and made sure the party was going all night long. He listened closely to our requests and honored them the night of. He had great suggestions and helped us decide on many music choices that we were unsure of. He was so patient and never rushed us. Everyone had such an amazing time especially my husband and I. We also got the photo booth package and let me tell you I am so glad we did. It came with photographers that were with Bravo Sounds. At the end of the night I was handed a flash drive with hundreds of pictures. It was so amazing to look through them the next day! Bravo Sound is the absolute best!!! Just married last week and hired Alex as our DJ and Mike as our MC; we also hired their drummer too. They were incredible from start to finish. We didn't even have a chance to talk to them about what we needed. Our online inquiry was answered 3 days later. Voice system is not set up to leave messages, so when someone (Mike?) called us and asked to call him back (he asked what time our event starts and that's it, no answer to our questions) - I could not even leave a message, had to chase them for two days. Then he blamed that on the receptionist, said that she was new and did not know how to check the messages. Really? It was not even possible to leave a message. Both the receptionist and Mike were pushy trying to make us set the time for an appointment, while all we needed at first - brief phone conversation to get an idea on who we are talking to and basic info on their packages and rates. If you are not within our budget why spending hours commuting and meeting you? He was also quite defensive on the phone when I asked whether he has any availability for a brief phone call when both my fiance and I can be on the phone with him. I had my daughters baptism reception at Terrace on the Park this past May 2019. and Bravo Sound was the DJ. Mike was a great MC! A lunch reception is not as lively as a dinner but because of Bravo Sound it was fantastic. Any and every song requested was played (even last minute requests). I hired Bravo Sound for my Wedding this Fall. They made it easy to set up meetings, and go over things on the phone. One of their packages included a Video screen and video montage, which I planned for my Shower. My shower was this past weekend, and Bravo Sound did an amazing job!!! They set everything up, two large screens, and made my video montage from old pictures to digital pictures. It came out amazing, and they provided a screen technician and photographer to take photos of everyone at the shower. They provided me all the pictures on a zip drive at the end, and took better photos than a photographer company that charges double the price. I was so pleased with Angelo and Enrique. Mike and Alex the owners, were beyond professional and helped plan along the way. I am so pleased with their work at the shower, I cannot wait for the wedding! read more

I'm going to TRY to keep this review as short and sweet as possible. Bravo Sound is nothing short of amazing! My husband and I got married 1.5 years ago and Bravo Sound was our DJ. We pretty much interviewed a total of 3 DJs and even though Bravo sound was not on our venue's (Jericho Terrace) vendor list, we had to go with them. It was a match made in heaven. It really doesn't make sense why Jericho didn't have them on the list (they may be on it now, I don't know). We worked mostly with Mike and talked to his brother on an occasion. Everyone was wonderful, warm and funny. This place just clicked. Mike and his bro know their music! He's not technical with this. It's not math like another DJ we visited. You give him an idea of what you want and he will spit out a ton of stuff that's in that category of music. Music flows through this guy's veins. It's innate and not a science. They even know non-American music. For my wedding we had to accommodate not just the american born, but also our families from Haiti. This man knew and played many of the Haitian hits. He literally could spit out Haitian song names on the spot. Overall, our guests loved our DJ (Mike) and MC. Our wedding party was so diverse and everyone loved it. I wanted him to play a little bit of everything and he knew exactly what to do. We had Top 40, Reggae, Reggaeton, R&B, Pop, Kompa, Latin music..everything... and it all flowed so well. Sorry I forgot some people's names, but everyone was great and the price was right! We also got the large photo booth which was also a hit! They're so real and didn't try to over sell us. From the very beginning, Mike (the owner) and his brother Alex showed a lot of enthusiasm and professionalism, and made my husband and I feel comfortable with the planning process when deciding the DJ entertainment. Mike also happened to be the MC for our reception, and he was a wonderful MC and game host for our Broadway themed games, and awesome at keeping the flow smooth even with the small alterations to the schedule. We used Bravo Sound as our wedding Dj. Mike the owner was our MC! Mike saved our wedding! He did the most amazing job! He could hAve been a wedding planner, fresh ideas - i love you better than ice cream for cake cutting! My husband and I have four very different cultures in our family and mike celebrAted each of them while blending them perfectly. He honored our Greek, Italian, Spanish, and Irish families and traditions while playing awesome music for our friends. He had everyone dancing and Laughing the ENTIRE night! He played the rock we like the traditional we needed and had great suggestions along the way. He found me easy Greek songs to lead! I love dancing to reggaeton and I was terrified to play it because a quarter of our guests would have understood the lyrics, mike found me instrumental versions! Lighting My husband and I worked really hard on a tango for mid reception, I even changed dresses for it, Mike did on improvised lighting for us that really complemented the dance! The photo montage Mike made the most amazing photo montage of us. He really matched the music to our personalities and gave us copies for our moms! It was well thought out and professional. Thank goodness mike had one of his guys taking photos of the wedding our hired photographer sucked and bravo's pictures saved the day. Not about the money. The day of the wedding one of the cost saving measures my husband I took Mike thought looked off, so He upgraded us and took the hit so our day would be perfect! Bravo was amazing every step of the way. In some ways they saved the reception by keeping the flow making my mix of ideas a classy event and giving me the only photos I can display. They made all are guests comfortable and had all from the two year old ring bearer to our 89 year old grandparents dance the night away! Our wedding was just about a month ago, and friends and family who went to our wedding are still talking about how great the music was!! The string quartet during the ceremony and cocktail hour added that bit of elegance while still playing contemporary music. Switching into the reception, Alex created an immediate party vibe knowing just what to play to get the crowd moving and dancing all night long with good variety (hip hop, R&B, reggae, Top 40, and some house along with salsa, merengue, bachata, and reggaeton). Our MC Izzy worked perfectly alongside him striking the perfect balance in hyping up the crowd but not overdoing it. My parents as well as other guests have told us that they did not see the dance floor empty once the whole night, and this is all thanks to Alex and Izzy!! We used Bravo Sound for 3 bar/bat mitzvahs. We'd use them again but we've run out of children. Mike was our DJ for the last two events and he and the MC, Ali, were incredible. They kept the crowd going all night. Mike also put a lot of extra work in preparing for the parties and customizing the music to meet our requests. I hired Bravo to perform at my daughters' Sweet Sixteen this past Friday. From DJ Alex sitting down with me for the initial consultation, Mike spending more than an hour on the phone with me and my daughter a week before the event to finalize everything and then Bravo's performance at my daughters Sweet Sixteen me and my family could not have been happier. As my daughter keeps telling me "BRAVO CRUSHED IT!!!" I had one of their top tier event packages with DJ Alex and MC Izzy. DJ Alex's music and his mixes were awesome. He had my daughters' friends on their feet all night long. Even my eighty five year old Uncle was dancing!!! MC Izzy had everyone excited, jumping up and down and singing to all of the songs. MC Izzy even had me singing and dancing with him at different times during the night. Their set up was outstanding. Lights going on and off all night long felt like we were in a club. Large TV screens with photographs of the party being displayed as the party was happening! Their photographer Hernan even took photographs of me and my family before the party and during the cake and candle lighting ceremony. All of my daughters friends and my family told me that they had such a great time and wanted Bravo's contact information. The money was well spent. Highly recommend. We hired Bravo for our wedding on June 12. Bravo was an amazing company to work with from beginning to end! We spent a lot of time researching DJ companies and when we met with Mike from Bravo, we were completely comfortable right from the start. They were super helpful with every aspect of our planning and very responsive to anything we needed. Alex walked us through our selections when we were a couple of weeks away from the wedding date and helped us make some final selections, making suggestions based on his expertise without ever being pushy. They provided music for the on-site ceremony and the sound for the officiant. We also used them for a steel drummer for our cocktail hour, which we thoroughly enjoyed as well as our guests. Joe was outstanding and added a really fun aspect to our outdoor, tiki bar cocktail hour. Mike was our DJ and Izzy was our MC for the reception and we couldn't have asked for a better time. They kept the energy at the right level for the entire night and were very attentive to anything we wanted. It was an amazing party and our guests had a blast! The music was perfect....they played our requests as well as mixing in other music that fit perfectly with our preference in music style. Izzy judged the crowd well and brought the right level of energy without overdoing it. Both of the guys were a lot of fun and our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on choosing them. We got our photobooth from Bravo as well and it was top notch. The photobooth was really new and the setup looked great. They brought fun props and the attendant managed the flow so that everyone got to use it and it was never backed up with a long line. They even customized the photo prints to match our design from the invitation and place cards. Every detail was managed to a T and made things super simple for us. I am so happy that we hired Bravo Sound for our wedding - they were professional, on time, and kept the party going all night long! Finding a truly professional (and not crazy expensive) DJ is a tough task, but Alex made us feel very comfortable at the initial and followup meeting, and Mike did a great job mixing tunes all night. They were easy to contact, and made it simple to set up meetings.
