She offered to bundle my mother's home and car as a discount. That save her a few dollars but I felt her policy was still high. I requested a quote from a different Nationwide broker and got a better quote. Nationwide is Nationwide, the policy quote from different brokers should be fairly the same. I called Bonita back and explained what I had discovered. Initially she gave me some push back about researching for a better quote. After a little back and forward, Bonita presented an insurance quote that made us happy. Bonita's wiliness to spend a few hours working directly to improve my mother's policy has clarified why my mother has stayed with Nationwide for so many years. So I was told that I needed to show proof of my prior insurance for a discount, when I did I was charged 10 more bucks because it wasn't 6 months of Prior insurance. Which I was never told about. And also Shady because I just started the policy 2 weeks ago now they're looking for a full payment and I haven't even had the insurance a full month. There's only one operator representative that answers the phone she has no compassion or empathy for complaints. This just made my experience all the more frustrating.
