We met with the owner and feel he was both knowledgeable in the field and along with the great photos of previous jobs he had done, we hired him. The job was done with care and the quality was exceptional. Carlton (the owner) is cordial and friendly and the price was fair for the job. He subcontracted out the new foundation (concrete pour) which was also done with care and quality in mind. All in all, the quality was excellent and the price was fair so anyone in the market for these services can rest assured that Arrow C Landworks is a very good company and Carlton Carter is a very special person. The previous contractor cleared off all the big items during which metal and trash was ran over with large track equipment after some heavy rains. Arrow C Landworks cleaned up the surface trash but had a bigger challenge due to the condition the prior contractor left it. I am very pleased with the work while facing the challenges of clearing it off and meeting the deadline of the sale of the property. Arrow C Landworks was reasonably priced for the job and worked with me on budget and equipment issues. Great job!

Consumer beware. Let…read moremy lesson be a warning to anyone who is looking for exterior painting. January 2nd I made a post looking for recommendations for exterior painting and siding repairs. I received a few messages and had 3 different quotes. Every person who came for an estimate was shown the same areas that needed replacement or repair, including a walk around the house. Yes, the house is an older home, but that was made known up front. I received 3 quotes, 2 were very close in price. One of those was Pro-Clean. At the time of the estimate, the owners wife, Kat, was the one who came to the home, spoke with me, took pictures of the areas of concern and said it would be "no problem". Estimate received (see attached photos) which listed House paint & Repair Paint house, fascia, trim, soffit, white wash look on Brick, repair siding, soft wash fence, pressure wash concrete. In talking with the owner, I was advised they would also throw in washing the privacy fence also. That was the deciding factor to go with this company. I also made it clear that I was in no hurry for the project to be started, as we were expecting the winter storm within the coming weeks. Project was started the week the weather was moving in. I was assured that there would be no issues with paint curing due to this. Due to the weather, I was unable to really see the detailed work that was done until the weather had passed. At that time, I walked the house and noticed that none of the siding had been addressed. Screens were found on the ground under the snow cover, windows were covered in overspray. Yes it's an old house and windows are old, but I still expected better. I messaged the owner, Derrick, to ask about this. I was told that they could not repair the siding, that it needed to be replaced and they could not do that. I told him that was unfortunate, because the other estimates I received included the repair/replacement of these areas. As I sat with this for a few days, the more irritated I became. As soon as they saw the issue and were unable to replace it, the project should have been halted and the homeowner should have been notified. He stated that he told me when he started the project, which is untrue because I was at work when they began working. I even clarified in text the pricing and what was included. Within a few days, paint began to bubble. I sent a picture of the areas to him and asked if they could address it. One week, no answer. I sent another text and received a reply that they would take care of it. Derrick came and scraped the areas, slapped one coat of paint on it and that was it. I sent a message to the owners wife, through messenger, as she was the one who reached out to me and was the one who came to do the estimate, stating my disappointment. I did tell them that I would not be able to recommend their business due to my experiences. Derrick immediately texted me and told me this was a "budget level job" and they don't repair or replace siding. I did not ask for a budget level job, I asked for an estimate. They took it upon themselves to do a budget level job. I asked for the paint information, so I could apply a second coat to the bubbled areas myself, and so whoever I hired could color match the rest of the house. He refuses to give me that information, which is the least they could do. He keeps saying we can have a phone call to discuss, I refuse to have any communication not in writing. Last message sent 3/12 and no reply. I have sat on this, because I was giving them a chance to do the right thing before taking it public. I've exhausted my patience. I have attached every single text and message, and pictures of work. I don't want anyone to deal with the issues I've had. If they could not repair or replace the siding, they should have said that the day they did the estimate, or at the very least, when he reviewed the pictures that were taken. A simple, "sorry, that's not something we can address" would have at least allowed me to go a different direction. I did have them stain and repair the fence, this work is satisfactory, it seems like this is what they should stick with.

They were efficient, clean and professional. They very methodically analyzed my heat and air conditioning, wrote a detailed list for me, and explained options very clear and precise, so that I could understand what I was paying for. My heat and air conditioning had leaked for years which had rotted out all of the wood around the unit. I decided since I was changing out the system anyhow to go ahead and move it to a more convenient spot in the house. I would like to insert right here that their carpentry skills equal their heat and air skills. They did everything needed to redirect my system from foundation to the roof, I was very impressed with these guys. One thing I really appreciated about them they didn't try to up-sale me on all kinds of things that I didn't need. I have found a local gem; they were fast, professional and courteous, and to top it off they do great work. After my husband died I had to move and happened on a great deal for a house. Downside....the only…read moresources of heat are a wood burning stove and space heaters and the only a/c comes from window units. I got quotes (or attempted to get quotes) from several other companies. Without exception, every other company was SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than TLCS. I'm not talking a few hundred dollars more either....I'm talking thousands. Additionally, every interaction was amazing. Not only are the people who work in their office friendly and helpful, but so is their after hours answering service. At every turn they make sure that you know they value you as a customer, which simply can not be said for some of the other companies in the area (like Swink....they made sure I felt like they specifically didn't want my business). I really only hope that the next time I need to install a ductless mini-split or central air system I live within their service area...because they are hands down the best!
