The decision was made because if a special part was needed to fix our unit the parts house would be closed on the weekend and the unit couldn't be fixed anyway. Monday morning came and Wyatt and Chris Crawford came and it was found that the A coil had a broken nut and all the Freon was lost. a new A coil was not to be had locally so one was ordered from Texas. In the meantime Chris offered a window unit he had at his house to get us through one of the hottest heat spells of the year. Wyatt was going by Chris's house to another job and picked it up and brought it to my house and put it in. The part shipped in and the unit was repaired. So, wait all day :( Appliance Pro having charged me over 350 to fix my washer and when it did not work after waiting for 2 weeks for the guy to come back with the part they wanted more money than the cost of a new machine to continue to repair. When I told them, I should probably just get a new one and asked if they could credit the part back not any of the labor since it had not been used. They said, no. So, I paid them and still had to purchase a new washer.
