The area is so beautiful, you are tucked back into a quiet wooded area with plenty of wild life, but still minutes from any stores you need. You get the Benefit of being hidden in the middle of the Tipton Lakes community, they have no shortness of paths to walk or run on. Their Gym and Club house is very nice, and laundry facility is maintained very well. If you want an affordable place to have peace of mind, helpful staff, and gorgeous views in a safe area. I have spent nearly 2 weeks now emailing, texting, and calling nearly twice a day to get information and I get no response. Today, I tried to go in person to the office assuming they were maybe busy as these apartments look very nice. I was only met with locked doors and no response. There is an advertisement to take an self-guided tour on the door. It has you jump through all these hoops to be able to "tour" but then there's no tours available. Complete waste of time. Online, it says they have apartments available but I even doubt that's true. I don't even believe these previous "5 star" reviews at this point. Completely frustrating experience.

Customer service is rude, unprofessional, unorganized, unwelcoming, defensive and borderline…read moreabusive. I called and made an appointment to do a tour of a two bedroom apartment on Wednesday. The day before my appointment I called again to ask about ESA animals. They said they don't know the answer but that they would research it and let the girl know so she could tell me the answer when I went on Wednesday to do my tour. I showed up on Wednesday with my kids....and the door was locked, there was no sign on the door, and noone around. We finally saw the maintenance man and he didn't know where the woman was either. He called her and said that she was sick and wasn't coming in. However, she hadn't bothered to tell me, or him, or even post a note on the door. She just didn't show up. So I went home and called the number again to reschedule and to let them know that she stood us up. They said she probably didn't know that she had an appointment with me. I said then why did I call this number to schedule the appointment if you don't even tell her about it?? And how is she going to answer my ESA question if she doesn't even know that I'm coming? They told me to call the local Batesville number this time to reschedule. So...I make my fourth phone call. The lady who answers right away has a snappy angry tone. I told her that I am calling to reschedule a tour of a two bedroom apartment. She said "Are you rescheduling because you made an appointment and then didn't show up?" I said "No. I am calling to reschedule because I made an appointment and I showed up, but the woman who was working that day did not show up. There was no note on the door and noone notified me". All of this I said in a calm tone. She said "You don't have to rude about it ma'am!" I told her, calmly again, that I am purely stating facts. What was rude, was being stood up and nobody bothering to even let me know or puting a sign up on the door. The woman snapped "Fine! When do you want to reschedule?!" No apology, nothing. She was defensive, rude, angry, unwelcoming and apparently noone who works here communicates with anyone else. I dodged a bullet with this, imagine living here and having a true problem that you needed thier help with. I'm glad I saw how they treat people and how they don't care BEFORE I moved in! I will be looking elsewhere for an apartment. I will warn my friends and neighbors as well about this place.

I have lived here for 2 yrs. The pros are, the rent is reasonable for what you get. Meaning apts…read moreare nice on the inside. You pay light bill which is reasonable. But the yardwork is below standards, meaning they give it a quick once over with a riding mower. No weed eating around the buildings and no trimming bushes. The places that do look nice with flowers and such are the ones that the tenants have done. Don't count on getting any maintenance service very quickly. I moved in Dec. and knob on my washer was broken, took until catching someone from regional office in the office here to get it fixed. That was after 4 months of turning in repair requests. I have a stopped up bathtub now and turned in a maintenance request over a week ago and have been told they are getting a new maintenance person next week. Meaning it will be 3-4 weeks before my tub will be worked on. Yet your rent is due on the first of every month, with no grace period and a $60 late fee if past the first. So not a very good exchange of rent and repairs. Oh and they say they have a workout room. They do, its just everything in it is broken. Sooo....think twice before looking here for your next home!
