Our waitress was very good! Honest and friendly, she did a good job. One of my kids ate his entire kid's pizza which was barely smaller than the medium my husband ordered for the two of us. We ate all of the small 8 slices. We ordered the cup & char pepperoni which came out looking quite different than the menu. I posted pictures of what we ordered versus what we got. Overall the pizza wasn't bad. For thin crust (a style we don't normally care for) it was okay. I liked the sauce and the cheese. My family recently visited Brick Oven Pizza in Paragould for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience for our family. Our server was fantastic. Very helpful and attentive. My wife and I started with the Mediterranean salad. It was incredibly fresh, with crisp greens, artichoke hearts, and a wonderful blend of olives and feta cheese served with Greek dressing. The Margherita Authentica pizza was delicious, with its thin crust and aromatic basil. The rustic basil oil drizzle put it over the top! We also enjoyed a Supreme Pizza, which was loaded with toppings and full of flavor. Our son absolutely loved his Olive Pizza, while our daughter raved about her creamy macaroni and cheese. A colleague recently took me to this location. He had eaten here once previously. I can't say that I was too impressed with the smarty-pants service or the food. I guess that it passes muster for Paragould. We ordered the mushroom / spinach appetizer. Meh. Nothing really that special about it. I totally get that the pizzas are made within a brick oven. I've eaten at many other pizza places that use the same methodology, e.g. Bosco's microbrewery in Memphis, TN. What I don't get, is that although I specifically requested that there not be any black carbon residue cooked into the bottom of my pizza, I was met with a defiant attitude from the female, millennial server. She stated that the oven was swept once per day (in the morning), thus no carbon would appear on the pizza. That's not what happened. So, I ate the pizza toppings off of the carbon-contaminated slices of pizza. The toppings were high-quality, and delicious. At the end of the meal, I showed the waitress the blackened crust, and she produced a dismissive attitude. But, at least she didn't roll her eyes at me. I would have gone with three stars, but for the attitude/lack of accommodation by the server. (Bosco's, and other wood-fired oven places certainly sweep their ovens more often that just once per day.). I've also never encountered outright refusal from such a simple request from a server. So, I'm unlikely to return or recommend this place. There are so many other pizza joints out there that have equally tasty or better toppings, but also that have far better customer service practices. It's really too bad, as this could have easily instead been a four (or even five) star review. And they've lost my future business. read more

Pizza was decent, beer was decent. Ordered the house brew IPA for our beer. It would be more of a pale ale but not nearly hoppy enough for an IPA. We had the wings as an appetizer, and although they were cooked & the sauce & ranch were good they were a bit soft on the outside. Well this place is falling down the hill again. We waited 15 minutes to be seated and even the manager just looked at us and did not acknowledge we were there. No one was in front of us and plenty of empty tables. We finally ask a waitress if we could seat ourselves. The sign at the door said wait to be seated. We got our drinks right away, but the one pizza we ordered took 45 minutes. When we got our pizza it was just warm, maybe. The wife and I both used the restrooms and the men's was clean, the wife said the ladies was really dirty. Excellent tasting pizza. However they told me 40-45 minutes prep time so I did that. Got to the the window grabbed my pizza and back the hotel to find it was cold already. REALLY cold. Most of the time I get stressed out waiting, I often end up taking a part of my sandwich back to my office. Today, my husband order before I arrived and emphasized my sandwich should be served as soon as possible. Of course, about 30 minutes later his pizza was served, but not my sandwich. A few minutes later the waitress said it would be right out. A few minutes later I asked for it to be prepared to go. A few more minutes later I had to leave without my sandwich. A solid "Good" I am quite certain either their taps are incorrectly labeled or my server was just pulling the wrong one. I ordered their version of an APA and got a Pumpkin pie (too sweet and spiced). No matter, I am very happy any microbrewery exists in this dry region even if the beers are a bit immature and you may not get the right one! Brewing certainly isn't easy, but they are giving it a fantastic small-batch shot! The atmosphere is more family catfish restaurant rather than urban micro-brewery. Really not much emphasis on the beer at all (e.g. no bar). There is a window marked "Brew Station" in case anyone wants to see what's going on in the on-premises brewery. All typical for the region - "we brew beer...but shhhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone". The Pizza was a solid "OK" (I am definitely a hardcore pizza snob) got the "spicy veggie" that included squash for some reason. Jalapeños were a nice addition to this otherwise forgettable pie. But again- grading on a curve, did I mention they make their own beer?! Each table has a growler listing the beer menu. about 5 produced in-house and a number in bottles (sorry nothing exciting on that list at this time).
