the definition of don't judge a book by its cover.. this classic omaha hole in the wall exceeded my expectations with their delicious pizza and friendly service. FOOD : we got a few orders - but i personally ordered the gluten free pizza with cheese, basil, and banana peppers. It wasn't too greasy which i liked and it had just the right amount of flavor in all the places it needed it. I love that it was straight out of the brick oven and cooked to perfection. I got the gluten free crust because it only had olive oil, whereas the other normal gluten pizzas have a mixture of olive oil oil and soy bean oil. The pizza was light because the crust was thin, but I still prefer the double zero Italian flour over the American flour overall it was a good pizza and I enjoyed it, however, still probably not in my top favorites for omaha! The table at large really enjoyed their pizzas, I think if you just want a quick basic pizza that's good and better than going to a fast food spot, this is a good choice, but if you're looking for high quality ingredients with local sourcing, this isn't it. Alas, it was still really good and we enjoyed our food! SERVICE : it definitely gave a mom and pop feel, we had exceptionally kind Service and really enjoyed the people that we met. This establishment proves it is worth your effort to source out the local family-owned pizzerias. They specialize in brick oven pizzas and it was refreshing to find a place that didn't burn the crust! Their dough was very tasty and chewy. The sauce on their Margherita pizza was probably the best Roma-based sauce I've had. My daughter had the breakfast pizza and made similar remarks. I drove all the way to the restaurant to pick up an order I placed online through door dash. They said they didn't receive the order and were zero help to correct the issue or even offer to make the pizzas "on the fly". They could've easily at least offered to put in a new order or apologize but they just waved me away with no customer service etiquette. I did not have time to mess with door dash, and I was a paying customer with no expectation for free food, or a deal. They said If I do anything just blame door dash because they didn't want a bad review. Haha too late :) We will not order from this place anymore. I called Williamsburg, told them my issue and even though it wasn't there problem, they made it a point to help, and made my order in a rush. This is now my new favorite pizza spot in Omaha! The fact that you get to completely customize your pie, but it still comes out fresh and made to order is amazing. The crust is fluffy with the perfect amount of crisp to it. I went with my husband and a friend and both absolutely loved it. They each got a pizza slice and a calzone and enjoyed both. Don't remember her exact order. They have soooo many options and can customize as well. I had the P40 in the personal size. Fantastic had the normal crust. Sauce is very good touch of sweet. They had a nice spicier red pepper flakes with maybe cayenne or something else at the table was nice. Along with parmesan they brought out. I also got a P17 calzone it was very tasty. Enjoyed it dipped in both a marinara that was provided and some ranch. Which had great flavor as well. My buddy got a slice and a calzone as well hours slice had more of a thin crust he really liked and his calzone was perfect he said. All three of us had different crust options and they managed to hit the nail on the head with both a nice crisp bottom but good dough and not burnt. They have a good sized dining room around the corner after you order at the counter as well. Just a no frills pizza joint that won't disappoint. Perfect pizza place for birthday lunch. Came with my family to celebrate my sister's birthday. We had a party of 8. We ordered 2 jumbo pizza, wings and 2 salads. My sister also ordered a slice of chicken/broccoli/alfredo. She throughly enjoyed that. All in all pizza was really good. I was impressed with the undercarriage of the pizza. The breading was really good. I tried the supreme pizza and a slice of pepperoni pizza. Both were good. I was really fulfilled with my slices. I also got to try the bbq wings. The wings were solid 4 out of 5. I would give this place 4.5 stars overall. Slight down grade because it was very hot inside the restaurant. This is a hole in the wall spot that puts our amazing pizza. The issue is the service. We went in early on a Friday evening and the man at the counter could not have been more rude if he tried. Visibly annoyed with the person at the front of the line. Rude responses and eye rolling with everything he said. We started to order and he left the counter after being rude and rolling his eyes at us for saying that we were going to order to eat in the restaurant. We ended up leaving and going to a different nearby pizza spot where we got great service. This place has great pizza...but the service sucks. If you can't pretend to enjoy working with customers, you shouldn't be doing it. Do better Brick Oven. read more

The "jumbo slice" is two decently sized slices of pizza, definitely enough for a meal for a very reasonable price. Workers are always super friendly. Crispy New York style crust - I am quite picky with New York style, don't love when it's too thin or too crispy - Brick Oven is neither of those things, the texture & thickness are just right. This was the worst pizza we have had in a long time. Decided to try brick oven due to the ratings, but we didn't experience that kind of pizza. Ordered it at the restaurant and waited for it taking it right home to eat. It was lukewarm at best I would even call cold. We ordered half pepperoni half cheese and the cheese side was burnt and had very little cheese. Even the kids didn't like it and how can you mess up a pepperoni and cheese pizza?? My daughter really wanted to eat here having been before. She is Vegan and this restaurant offers so many vegan options. When you pull up front you will not be dazzled. Very nondescript and kind of hidden. Walking in it has "old world charm". Not the fanciest or most modern by any definition. We had our order taken by the owner, super nice and helpful. The vegan breadsticks were superb. So light and airy, oozing cheese. The Vegan P3, Grilled "Chicken" was amazing. I am not Vegan and I loved this pizza .
