Malie does not follow through on promises and is defensive and reckless when mistakes are made instead of sympathetic and eager to please. To be in a service industry, I find this to be her most disturbing trait. When we decided to go through with her, she promised a "welcome gift" and beer for my husband during out engagement shoot. Both never happened. I had to remind her of the welcome gift twice before a small booklet was sent to me. No beer for my husband. But i let it go since the engagement shoot turned out satisfactory. Cut to the wedding. She cancelled on my twice for phone calls only to finally tell me 2 days before my wedding her second shooter could not make it, the second shooter i had already paid for. she was scrambling telling me this and talked in circles, but what was i supposed to do. she instead brought her husband who clearly did not seem happy or eager to help her. his pictures turned out pixelated and they did not work well as a team. she spent way to much time taking family protraits leaving little to no time for pics of my husband and i, which i specifically asked her to do the opposite. from the second she started the to moment she ended, she seemed frazzled and unorganized. multiple ppl at my wedding said they felt bad for her bc she seemed so overwhelmed and not put together. she had no plan, clearly did not think about places to shoot, or had her camera and lighting ready. the thing that dissappointed me most is the fact that she never addressed any of my concerns and only acted in defence and passive aggressiveness. i work in customer service industry and would never treat a client the way she treated me. if you have 4 hours to pose on a sunny day outside, Malie might do a decent job for you. but if you expect candid photos that capture you love and an experienced photographer that can rise to any occasion, look elsewhere.

Engaging and thorough, we felt like the stars of the show and for the duration of the shoot, we felt like we had it together as a family because she was able to manage all the moving pieces with ease! We never felt rushed and even my teenagers felt handsome and beautiful in a setting where they normally would feel timid. In fact my mom even makes sure we're there super early to be the first in line. This guy isn't a snap one then done type. He will literally take at least 50 shots to make sure you get the very best one. Not only are his staff super helpful and friendly they donate a portion of their proceeds to different animal shelters in the area. Stand up people if you ask me. They also don't pressure to buy more than you want or need. I've never felt rushed or just another customer when I see these guys. Each grand dog gets their picture taken every time. So much so that friends/coworkers can't wait to see what the next pet photo will be. My mother is so much a of frequent flyer that they know her dog by first name. Maybe it's because he's hairless??? If you ever see a photo of a speckled dog with his tongue hanging out and two different colors eyes, you'll know you've stumbled upon the pure awesomeness that is Photos By Feist.

I had a very particular type of photo in mind and likely far to many specific requests. She listened to all of my input and made it happen. She is extremely detail oriented and passionate about her photography. The photos are far better than I ever envisioned! Booking and payment was simple, all online. She was in constant communication up to the day of the shoot, providing ideas about locations and details of what was required at various locations (e.g., permits, fees, etc.). She did her homework and scoped out our chosen location in advance. The day of the shoot was a breeze. Lyndsay (and her husband Tony) made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable, as if we had known them for years. My fiancé begrudgingly appeased me with a 2-hour shoot. Lyndsay was so patient with him and still managed to get a ton of great photos! We got our photos so quick! Lyndsay gave us a teaser within a day of the shoot. This was so exciting! She turned around the photos much quicker than I anticipated. All of them were beyond perfect!
